Car owners beware!!! I took my car here to wash on a weekend and while I was washing, I realized…read morethat there were over a dozen NAILS on the ground in the car washing station UNDER AND AROUND MY CAR! I finished washing as usual and prayed and hoped that none of the nails got into my tires... 3 weeks later, I had routine maintenance for 25k on my car and the dealership called me at work to tell me that THERE WAS A NAIL IN MY TIRE and that the location of it made it irreparable, and given that my tires were 2 years old at that point, I wasn't able to just replace one tire; I had to replace ALL 4 TIRES for a total of $1200. I guess I even had to count myself lucky that with my daily commute on the freeway to and from work, I didn't experience a blowout or car accident! I tried contacting the owner of this car wash to tell him about what happened. I didn't even request him to cover part of the cost of the damage, nor did I threaten him in any way. I simply wanted to make him aware of what happened. However, no response after over 2 months, and this is why I'm writing this review. I understand that someone other than the owner was the person who dumped all those nails on the ground, BUT I expected at least a text back from the owner saying sorry or that he went and fixed the issue at the car wash by inspecting the facility more often. Still nothing back from him, and I am now terrified to bring my car back to Timpview Car Wash. It's really too bad, because I really liked the concept of hand-washing my car; I don't like automated car washes due to the scratches they put on my last car.

However when pulling up and waiting in the cash/credit lane one of the employees were in mid conversation with someone in the car at the start of the lane, the barrier raised but they did not move. The conversation kept going on for a rather long time and due to the body language it did not seem like a professional or business related conversation. The employee looked back and saw me and the extending line multiple times but did not stop his conversation. When finally they did move I found the employee, (Dylan or David, his name started with a D for sure) I found he was a manager. When I asked if there was any reason that took so long, thinking there was a complication or a business related question he sharply told me "We were having a conversation" in a rather rude voice. He was very sharp and clearly upset with me just being there so I didn't say anything out of being so put off and uncomfortable by this interaction. If this was a new employee or an exhausted teenager's first job I would have understood the attitude via lack of experience. But I would have never expected this behavior from a manager. Everything else was fine, my car still has debris on it, my windshield is still dirty, the vacuum couldn't get all of the dirt, and there was no clear area to report the rude behavior, and the expected time to use the vacuums was 10 minutes which felt incredibly too short. Im tired and frustrated and do not think I will be returning anytime soon.

The best part was in the vacuum bay they had nice clean towels, Windex and cleaner spray along with air hoses. I got all the road grime off my car and ready to go again!

After I had spoken again with customer service over the phone, I was contacted a couple of hours after that conversation by Brian, the regional manager. I was honestly very pleased with the conversation we had; I felt my concerns were heard, questions were answered that needed to be, and issues were resolved. I'm very impressed by the lengths that were taken to speak with me and to come to a consensus that worked for both parties. I decided to change my rating based on this really admirable customer service; thanks, Quick Quack! *Original Review* If I could, I would give this location 0 stars. Very disappointed in this wash, and how they've decided to handle an incident that was not my fault. Ended up in a four-car pile-up because the wash malfunctioned and pushed my car backwards into the car behind me at the end of the tunnel. I was never contacted by the wash to try to resolve the issue, they instead handed out the number of my brother (who runs our shared account) and told other customers that we needed to deal with it. I had to call their online customer service to finally be told I needed to file an incident report. When I finally got hold of the managers at this location, they tried to tell me I was in reverse the whole time; but they were mistaking my automatic drive lights for reverse lights. There was also not a single time (on their cameras or the video call that I was on during the wash) that my car rolled back on its own besides when the malfunctioning wash pushed me backward at the end of the tunnel. They also tried to tell me that my car put itself into reverse since I told them I didn't have it in reverse... automatic transmission cars don't just put themselves into reverse. I went in to review the footage myself, and it was clear to me and my brother (who went with me) that I wasn't in reverse. Any movement that happened with my tires was caused by the rollers and the wash. I was told by the location manager that what I saw in the video was a 'matter of perspective'. I was continuously gaslit by both managers, both of them telling me my car was doing things that it is physically incapable of doing (shifting into reverse on its own, the reverse lights were on even though the car wasn't in reverse...). I was also treated very poorly by both managers; I was also told by one of the managers that I wasn't allowed to record anything for insurance purposes, even though there is a law here in Utah that allows me to do that...? The location manager (who we spoke with over the phone) was especially aggressive during the entire conversation we had with her. She continuously interrupted me and wouldn't allow me to speak, until I had to tell her I didn't appreciate how she was speaking with me. After I told her that, she told her manager on duty to tell my brother and me to leave, and we'd have to get the police involved if we wanted to have any other discussions. I'm very disappointed that this business is incapable of taking responsibility for an incident that was clearly their fault; I didn't break any of the rules the wash has in place (didn't put my foot on the brake, didn't touch the wheel, did NOT go into reverse), and yet I'm being blamed for a 4 car pileup that wasn't my fault in the slightest. I've always been impressed with the customer service at Quick Quack, but because of this awful experience, I will no longer be taking my business to any of their washes. I've never been spoken to the way that I was by both of the managers at this location; it was honestly rather disgusting behavior, and I hope that the company will hire better managers in the future, and will work to make sure their washes don't malfunction in this way again. (Also, I was told that there is a company policy where the employees have to place 3 rollers in between each car to avoid collisions like this... While I was waiting to speak to a manager I watched an employee only put 1 roller in between two cars. So...)

Perhaps it was because I didn't (and almost never do) use the auto washer. I also am writing this after receiving my credit card statement and my card was charged correctly and only once. Admittedly, it didn't start great. The first bay I went into had a card reader that didn't work well...I eventually gave up after trying different cards and moved to another bay that did work, first time I tried it. Pressure seemed a bit on the iffy side for the pre-wash but after that was fine, though I would have preferred a bit more temperature to the water. I ran through several of the settings, the usual ones I normally do, so pre-wash, soap, brush* (this was after a road trip, so this is one step I only do if I can't avoid it), rinse, wax, soft rinse, and afterwards had more or less a clean car. The place has definitely seen some age and is a bit beat-up and worn, but $6.50 for probably a solid 15 minutes is a pretty strong deal, in my book, well worth saving me the hassle of having to wash the car in my driveway and much faster. Honestly, probably not better, but compromises have to be made if you're going with a wand rather than hand-washing it anyway. So, overall, this was pretty middle of the road fine.
