I took my car here to wash on a weekend and while I was washing, I realized…read morethat there were over a dozen NAILS on the ground in the car washing station UNDER AND AROUND MY CAR! I finished washing as usual and prayed and hoped that none of the nails got into my tires... 3 weeks later, I had routine maintenance for 25k on my car and the dealership called me at work to tell me that THERE WAS A NAIL IN MY TIRE and that the location of it made it irreparable, and given that my tires were 2 years old at that point, I wasn't able to just replace one tire; I had to replace ALL 4 TIRES for a total of $1200. I guess I even had to count myself lucky that with my daily commute on the freeway to and from work, I didn't experience a blowout or car accident! I tried contacting the owner of this car wash to tell him about what happened. I didn't even request him to cover part of the cost of the damage, nor did I threaten him in any way. I simply wanted to make him aware of what happened. However, no response after over 2 months, and this is why I'm writing this review. I understand that someone other than the owner was the person who dumped all those nails on the ground, BUT I expected at least a text back from the owner saying sorry or that he went and fixed the issue at the car wash by inspecting the facility more often. Still nothing back from him, and I am now terrified to bring my car back to Timpview Car Wash. It's really too bad, because I really liked the concept of hand-washing my car; I don't like automated car washes due to the scratches they put on my last car.

However when pulling up and waiting in the cash/credit lane one of the employees were in mid conversation with someone in the car at the start of the lane, the barrier raised but they did not move. The conversation kept going on for a rather long time and due to the body language it did not seem like a professional or business related conversation. The employee looked back and saw me and the extending line multiple times but did not stop his conversation. When finally they did move I found the employee, (Dylan or David, his name started with a D for sure) I found he was a manager. When I asked if there was any reason that took so long, thinking there was a complication or a business related question he sharply told me "We were having a conversation" in a rather rude voice. He was very sharp and clearly upset with me just being there so I didn't say anything out of being so put off and uncomfortable by this interaction. If this was a new employee or an exhausted teenager's first job I would have understood the attitude via lack of experience. But I would have never expected this behavior from a manager. Everything else was fine, my car still has debris on it, my windshield is still dirty, the vacuum couldn't get all of the dirt, and there was no clear area to report the rude behavior, and the expected time to use the vacuums was 10 minutes which felt incredibly too short. Im tired and frustrated and do not think I will be returning anytime soon.

I decided to give Wiggy Wash a go because it looked awesome while I drove passed the place. I was greeted by the Wiggy wash employees as they did make me feel welcomed. Also, they briefly explained all the different types of washes and V.I.P memberships that the company has to offer which I thought was really nice. I ended up purchasing the $35 monthly membership pass. The Wiggy Wash employee then put my V.I.P sticker on my front windshield. She explained to me that I can come back any time of the month for a free car wash since I have paid for the monthly membership pass. Also, I'm able to cancel at any time. Overall, the car wash was pretty awesome. Some other Yelpers have complained about the dryers not being strong enough but I believe Wiggy Wash has resolved this issue due to me not having the exact same problem that they had faced. I do love how the Wiggy Wash shines your tires for you if it's what you paid for. Also, the wash does clean underneath your vehicle if you have that apart of your membership too. My car is pearl white so at the end of the Wiggy Wash I was quite impressed on how clean the outside of my car looked. The dryers worked wonderful as well because my car did not have any remaining water marks on it which was fantastic. At the end of the wash you have the option to use the free (self-service) vacuums. I thought the option of the free vacuums was definitely a plus. Although, you have to bring your own cleaning supplies if you plan on wiping your exterior and/or interior down, so be sure to keep that in mind. That being said, I highly recommend you to try the Wiggy Wash out for yourself.. happy wiggy washing!!

The only downside was the vacuum and towels! both could be improved. There weren't any clean cloth towels available for over an hour, and no one came by to restock them, which was a little frustrating. I don't know quite what to make of the other reviews on here. Either they've improved (somewhat) or…read moreI got lucky. Perhaps it was because I didn't (and almost never do) use the auto washer. I also am writing this after receiving my credit card statement and my card was charged correctly and only once. Admittedly, it didn't start great. The first bay I went into had a card reader that didn't work well...I eventually gave up after trying different cards and moved to another bay that did work, first time I tried it. Pressure seemed a bit on the iffy side for the pre-wash but after that was fine, though I would have preferred a bit more temperature to the water. I ran through several of the settings, the usual ones I normally do, so pre-wash, soap, brush* (this was after a road trip, so this is one step I only do if I can't avoid it), rinse, wax, soft rinse, and afterwards had more or less a clean car. The place has definitely seen some age and is a bit beat-up and worn, but $6.50 for probably a solid 15 minutes is a pretty strong deal, in my book, well worth saving me the hassle of having to wash the car in my driveway and much faster. Honestly, probably not better, but compromises have to be made if you're going with a wand rather than hand-washing it anyway. So, overall, this was pretty middle of the road fine.
