I am spearheading, if you will, the particulars of my ex husband's death . . …read more After meeting with a certain county office of his passing, we needed to secure a Bond (I'm still fuzzy as to why). Alvin's firm was the closest one listed to me. We initially spoke on the phone a few times, corresponded via email (to speed things up), and then in person. Alvin handled everything that I needed promptly and was a very nice guy to work with. We're now ready to finalize other tasks.

Additionally, quoted a higher price than he actually charged because there was no infestation, it was maintenance visit, however he didn't need to do that, and shows his good character!

This guy really needs to learn a few things about customer service. We made an appointment with him…read moreafter we thought we had what might have been a bed bug issue a few months ago because our landlord said he "was the best" (even though he had never used him). First of all he was 30 minutes late, and when he finally knocked on our door, he just stood there. He never introduced himself, and he never apologized for his tardiness. Throughout our visit, he was EXTREMELY rude. Any questions we asked him he acted like we were stupid, and it was all I could do not to throw him out of the house. We took him upstairs, and he did the same amount of looking that my fiancee and I did looking for the bugs in question, except he used a flashlight. He didn't even finish looking through the room entire room--he was convinced that we didn't have a bed bug infestation. He acted like I was crazy, and kept trying to collect his money and leave. I asked him, "Don't you think you could check our second bedroom, or maybe even our couch?" Reluctantly, he did half-assed walk-through of our second bedroom, and refused to even looked at our couch. He finally wrote us a bill, and in hind-sight I probably shouldn't have even paid it. It cost us $30 for him to tell me a wrong diagnosis. Now months later, I've contacted our landlord again for a different rodent issue all while still dealing with a bug issue (and we FINALLY have proof that we have bedbugs, most likely coming from next door, hence the reason he never found bug one--the joys of a living in a South Philly row home); and he's telling us to call the "BUGMAN" again. Forget that noise. We're going with a bigger company that at least offers a guarantee and doesn't charge for an estimate. I would move, but I don't want to take these issues with us. I would NEVER recommend this guy to anyone. If I could have left 0 stars, believe me I would have.
