Mostly seems to depend on leadership. Take advantage of the academies tailored to specific interests. The Early College Academy is fantastic! A take one star off for inconsistent communication when you actually need to take to a human being. Elementary is great, communication gets worse as you advance through the ages. The main high school being the worst.

My son has attended Mathnasium for the past 4 years and it has given him a lot of confidence in his…read moremath skills. When we mentioned that he now has good grades and should probably stop attending he was all upset and refused to do that because he loves getting alternatives way of doing math from the way he learns in class. Mr Vane is the heart of Mathnasium, he really makes math fun for kids with his different ways of teaching it and all his little "tricks" he teaches them. The fact that he is always present makes a very big difference on the tutors who know they can't goof off and need to do their best teaching. I have recommended the place to several families who now happily attend too!

Varsity Tutors totally came through for our daughter who needed 1 point on her ACT to get more…read morescholarship funds. We approached them 3 weeks before the final test to count to focus specifically on her math section. They assigned her a tutor. Our tutor Sarah was a great listener and asked our daughter a lot of questions -- see how she learns, what we're her worries/concerns, what were her strengths and how she could teach her best. They had 5 strong 2 hour sessions together. Our daughter got her point and our confidence in Varsity Tutors is strong. This is a new relationship with VT. Whether they will tutor our son for ACT within the next year or help our daughter in college classes, it's comforting to know they have the personal touch to help our children academically where needed.
