This is an excellent place to stop for gas, quick snacks, more substantial food, and bathroom…read morebreaks. Having said that, I feel compelled to note that I'm particularly writing this review to offer an alternative perspective to another poster's review that claimed that the women's restroom had a paper towel dispenser that was unreachable by shorter ladies. Now, there are two dispensers in the room - one is lower on the wall BY the sink and one is higher on the wall BETWEEN the sinks and in back of the counter. I am traveling with my friend who is 4'9", and she was perfectly able to reach the paper towels that were lower, but she says "no way in hell" could she reach the higher one. Perhaps after reading the other review Love's added an extra paper towel dispenser. So as of September 2019, the moral of the paper towel saga here is if you are vertically challenged, use the one you can reach. PS the staff here were really friendly, the restrooms were clean, and there is a Subway attached. It's an oasis in the middle of not a lot of anything!! :)

Love the Love at Love's!!!…read more The restrooms were immaculate. Love that the faucets in the sinks were old school where you can adjust the flow, the temperature and the duration. Love the variety of the sodas at the fountain. Love the dark roast coffee. It was strong and freshly prepared. Love that they had a mini telecom store inside where you could find any and every type of charger or battery. Love the entire team here. Five different ladies wished me a good morning while they were stocking or walking by. Love that there are three hotels within 300 yards for the weary ones who may need some respite. Love the Carl's Jr drive through which is part of this building . Love the app with 10 cents off per gallon. Best gas prices vs the other competitors within 70 miles on the I 70. A lot of locals eat here daily so it is half geared towards locals, but the food prices are cheap! Especially for real food. Roasted chicken is the best! Honest people and town and not many people here and everyone knows everyone but they are friendly and riff raff heads towards cities I believe, so a safer place than most exits. Lunch fill-out Cards are somewhat confusing to outsiders perhaps, have to fill out card for food yourself, something I have rarely seen in a restaurant. Has seating for 20 people max or so. Clean gas station. Honest workers and safe place. Not as scary as it looks from outside, New signs indoors and looks new indoors... and Cenex sign is sort of telling people it is for truckers I believe..? and first impressions..., I think I see the garage and think of an old movie where it is a car trap for your car breaking down... But the workers here are all good people especially vs. big cities where I have lived. And the people that hang out are all nice and unlike what you would think in a small town. Some towns probably are scary. .. Try a burrito, but it is a $10 burrito for $4.. so two people could eat and the meat and beans were above taco bell or on par at least. Daily specials and sometimes Roasted chicken is ready to eat. Maybe the outside of gas station needs remodeling slightly to modern times to appeal to people from cities. Seeing a garage makes people cringe perhaps thinking their car will break down or the connatation carried over from old movies. It is scary driving, but AAA is $75 per year and u can sign up on line or call 1800aaaHelp. Try the food! Great food for the price!
