I bought a hide-a-bed on 1/4/26. It was delivered to my home on 1/21/26. I paid over 1,600.00 for…read morethe couch/hide-a-bed. On 6/10/26 the couch broke; 20 weeks after the delivery. The woman in charge of the warranty was surly, unfriendly and unprofessional. Instead of replacing the couch entirely, she said I'd have to keep the cushions and mattress, which was fine; however, the replacement that was delivered today was a different color than the original. I asked her if they could just bring me the cushions that matched the couch, she said no. She kept saying that I'd had the couch for over 6 months so I'd have to keep the cushions. It's been nearly 6 months, but not quite 6. She seemed particularly put out by my request, and said that if she had to come take care of it herself she'd charge me 50.00. Needless to say, I wanted this done today so the delivery men had to remove the broken bed from the original couch, and from the replacement couch, and install the new bed in the original couch. I felt bad for the delivery men. Nonetheless, the warranty person is not welcome in my home, not after the way I've been treated. I am fully aware of the mandatory warranty of one year on large consumer goods, such as furniture and appliances. I've purchased several large items from John Paras Furniture in Rock Springs in the past, but will take my business elsewhere in the future.
