Got our floors done by them in February of 2023. They subcontracted the install, and the…read morecontractors didn't put the trim around my floors back on properly. They also left marker stains on my walls in 2 areas and didn't complete putting up the millwork in my kitchen, even though we paid extra for that. We started having issues with the floor coming up less than a year later. Now there is at least a dozen places where we are having issues with the floor. We have called to complain and see if we could get it fixed multiple times and were told we have been put on a waitlist. This was over 8 months ago and have heard nothing from them since. It has gotten to the point that we are going to have to get new floors again, less than 2 years after the install. Tried to go the the BBB and turns out they're not BBB Accredited.

Construction lasted six months and they were very agreeable to work with the entire time. Requested changes to the plan were accommodated as construction went on and the crew were always friendly and open to daily visits from us. They were also agreeable when I decided to do our own electrical work and "worked around" my schedule to help me. In the end we received a beautiful, large custom home we have been very happy with.

Wes Pechin will lie to your face and under deliver throughout your entire project. Every sub he brought on was poor quality and he gave little to no oversight or quality control, leaving us to try manage his crews. He will send you unapproved change orders for tens of thousands AFTER work is completed. And when we finally pushed back at the very end, he quit answering our calls and filed a lawsuit on us to pay the balance when the job was not completed! DO NOT USE!

Avoid using this contractor! Wes, the owner, will sell you…read morequality and communication but will never do the same with his crew, and you will have to oversee every step of the project..in my case a deck remodel. The first (unqualified) subcontractor was hired to tear apart and rebuild an 800 sqft deck. It was a one-man show that was not informed of my specifications and refused to get additional help for a job this big. When he thought the job was done, he took pictures because he said Pico blamed him for another project and didn't pay him. He then became MIA and was let go as a sub for Pico. The deck had to be re-done due to shoddy workmanship, and it took over a week to get a response from Pico about what happened. Wes was nonexistent during the project and left everything to a project manager who was just a go-between. I became the PM and had to oversee all aspects of the job discussed but never communicated to the next crew. I was presented, after the fact, with change orders that were never discussed regarding price, which turned out to be over $4K more than agreed upon. I was threatened by their lawyer with a lien but did not cave to their scare tactics. I sent a "settlement" check with full documentation of what I thought was reasonable, and hopefully, Pico paid a good sum for their lawyer since they agreed and are cashing the check.

Jerry was very informative and such a good guy. I remember he needed some wood for our cabinets, he took the time to explain why and presented options pertaining to cost. The prices were very high at the time, but we needed the wood to finish the job so we had given our approval. When the job was completed and we received the invoice there we no extra charges, in fact the cost was less than originally agreed. When we asked Jerry why, he told us that he was able to pick up the wood and some materials at a second hand supply store, which enabled him to forward the savings to us. Here is a gentleman that very easily could have told us he paid full advertised prices for everything and we would be none the wiser. Jerry's reply to us was, "if I did that, I would be only contributing to a lie that ultimately hurts the community I live and work in, I am sorry, but that is something I can not do". This guy is the real deal!! My husband said he should run for office...lol. The work was done on time, everything looked and worked perfect, and definitely at an affordable cost. Countertop Concepts has installed Quartz in around 5-10 of our rental properties and flips. They have special pricing and payment terms for investors, and always did a phenomenal job on the installs. Chris at Chiseled did a fine job building a pantry for me based off something I loved from…read morePinterest. My space was smaller than standard sized doors would work with and required screen doors. He worked with me to brainstorm a solution that was within a price that I was willing to pay. He ended up getting two, two panel doors, cutting out the top panels and installed screens in them. The bottom panels were hollow so couldn't hold the storage/spice racks. So I found some wire spice racks of lighter weight on Amazon and, true to his word, he came back and installed them for me after I had paid him in full with no hassle. (He was the only person this happened with on my full house remodel. I had one guy refuse to come back and finish his work period. So I hired someone else to finish up, and it drug on and on with delay after delay.) The shelves he built for me are crazy strong and sturdy. I don't have to worry about overloading any of the shelves, ever! I have cats that are good at getting into places they shouldn't, he suggested a strong magnetic latch at the top and it has worked wonderfully to keep the cats out. They don't even try to get the doors open! The only way they get in there is if I leave the door(s) open to long, as I did when taking the pictures. For my kitchen I bought a whopping huge apron sink. It wouldn't fit in any standard sink base. So Chris modified a standard sink base to properly support my apron sink. I have been very pleased with his work. Everyone who sees the pantry he built, wants one just like it. I will upload photos of the pantry including the Pinterest post I modeled it after.
