We are truly grateful to Mike because our experience with CTW was nothing but exemplary. We met with Alyssa before my father's passing to work out the particulars about what my Dad wanted. They respected my dad's wishes for simple cremation services. Alyssa was professional and genuinely empathetic to our needs. She took care of everything and a compiled a comprehensive list of legal tasks that we would need to address. I called today to try and make similar arrangements and to pre-pay. When I tried to call (really that's where I started) , the most bizarre "voice" answered - pretty sure it was the world's worst AI. The AI claimed it couldn't hear me and hung up on me. I tried to call again and did get a human being but it was a callback service. I also tried filling out a form but that directed me to a sales person who wanted to know when to call. When I asked to speak with the same person I dealt with 9 years, they responded that no one is there from 9 years. Since we worked with the owner 9 years ago, that must mean Advantage was sold.

When they called him to reschedule, and to explain he would be billed for the missed pickup, my brother was very unpleasant and hung up on them. Later, when I was paying his bills, I contacted TK to ask about the fee (I didn't know any of the above occurrence). I spoke with Steve who was very understanding and very kind. He understood the difficulty we are having, and the "awkward" stage between independence and losing freedom to manage things himself with dementia and he credited the fee back to us.
