A beloved favourite of my dads, as I remember him taking us every Saturday/Sunday morning for breakfast when we were kids. Since then however, the cafe has changed owners, so I decided to head on down and pay the Cosy Cafe a visit after all these years.
One morning after one too many the night before, a friend and I headed down to the cafe, in urgent need of a hangover cure.
We were met with a man who was more than sympathetic, a genuinely nice bloke who offered us a full English that was guaranteed to get us back on our feet.
The food came, we ate, we chatted, we had copious amounts of tea and left feeling much more fresh and invigorated than before (not that, that was hard)..
Overall, Cosy Cafe is a fairly quiet place, but if you're in the neighbourhood or in need of a quick full English to line the stomach after a night before, I recommend heading on in. read more
