Shopped at Costco yesterday and again today. Lunch was the attraction to go back and buy two pairs of shorts I passed up yesterday. They sell a very tasty "chicken bake" that cost only $4. It has chunks of chicken and bits of ham wrapped in toasted bread and is big enough to share. And unlike at regular restaurants, it doesn't feel cheap to share so you don't have to stuff yourself. The main reason for writing this review is to thank Costo for selling its drinks in paper cups and the chicken bake in paper. I often pass up food in Styrofoam and plastic. We can do so much better for ourselves and future generations by avoiding plastics, especially single-use plastics. I even carry two sets of Titanium cultery which Costco might want to check into selling. I just wrap the used fork, knife etc in napkin, slide it into the pouch it came with to take home to wash. So much sharper and studier than using the plastic silverware. Every piece of plastic we can avoid using is a plus. read more
