I'm pretty sure their doors are open, far less than Santa's work shop is. I understood the first time when I arrived about 6 weeks ago, and found a hand-written note on the door that read "be back in 10 minutes". That was fine, I had just wrapped up my jobs for the day, and had a good 10 minutes to sit and listen to my favorite radio show and kill some time. And hey ... you never know: Maybe there was an emergency repair being made, or maybe someone was trapped in the walk-in cooler .... hell, maybe a killer clown showed up, and had the cashier in the back being held up by kazoos and water blowing flowers. You just never know. So, I totally had no problem waiting out the full ten minutes if need be. Keep in mind, the sign was up when I got there, so I expected 9 minutes, tops. In the full ten minutes as I was there, I observed at least 8 customers come through, who CLEARLY did not have 10 minutes to kill. But, that was the full ten minutes the sign was suggesting I would wait. This does not include another 8 or so customers that came through, in the next set of 10 minutes I would wait. Look, if it's going to 20 minutes, just write 20 minutes instead of 10. Now that a human has bothered to come back, I am at the register with this tattooed blonde gal, who was CLEARLY not happy to see me, and wreaked of smoke. No smile, no apology for crap-ass customer service and a horrible impression of how you represent a nationally known franchise .... just simply took my money, and moved on without even saying "thanks" or anything .... dead silence. Now, I understand that people have bad days, don't get me wrong. However, when you provide customer service, it's up to you to not let me see that, or guess, and not leave me feeling like I want to choke you with that pack of Twizzlers you have sitting on the counter. So, yeah. Not so pleased with that part. However, little did I know this would become a regular routine. This did not happen a second or a third time (keep in mind that this would be anytime between 11am and 5pm) but, this, as of today, will now be the 10th time this has happened. And maybe it's one of those "you get what you pay for" kind of things, because they do have the cheapest gas in Gig Harbor ...... right along with the cheapest customer service at the same time. I also understand that employees are legally obligated to take their breaks, but it's on the owner to have relief staff in place, to avoid these kind of scenarios. I can't imagine the 1000's of dollars they have lost , simply due to these 20-minute long 10-minute breaks. Needless to say, starting on my second experience with this, I have simply driven away and refused to give them my business, cheapest gas in town or not!
