Came here to check out their bookstore! Pretty decent selection! This bookstore is modernized to accept Venmo! And they have a venmo QR code at their checkout!:) the staff are also very friendly and helpful! I got a lot of books and they gave me a box to carry it all in! Will definitely come back some day and i recommend checking out this location for your next book!

Today I'm waiting for a space , while one is open ,no one sitting in it for a power supply and in over an hour an and a half its just got a dvd player there. So I go to move it and this guy grabs my hand and says it's my wife's , So she returns with food and begins to watch her DVDs.while eating half hour later , but gone two hours Posted is no food or drink ,thank you , u can see the pictures. They kind of need a little bit of checking going on here. As any attempt to deal with these two or the guy sleeping on today's paper is met with hostility . Strange as they got loud and don't care that this is not a place to sleep or eat or confront people. Respect is needed for those who are here to do work. So I call on library higher ups to check on things more. Sleeping or eating is that ok, or hording a space for two hours, then hav to go thru a verbal fight to deal with these fools . No,please step it up and watch the grounds . Many people enjoy and use the library respectfully .and don't eat here and don't fight,or hog the power supply's and leave the grounds for two hours , what a strange day.I feel bad for the staff as they never hav to deal with this stuff and were nervous....my apologies . Many enjoy the space respecfully

I always enjoy coming here to browse. Nice that they are reopen during Covid. This library is always easy to go to and close to everything.

Still a great library. Need to update delivery fee: 25 cents is now ZERO. They dropped the fee a while ago. Great job OCPL!!

Great place to get some work done! Quiet, not to busy, and a verity of workspaces. I should also mention, they have a bunch of books too.

If you want to go somewhere quiet so you can work, don't come here. the employees seem to have no regard for typical library etiquette.

LOVELY and well maintained garden! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. We were fortunate to visit…read morewhen they had the mosaic sculptures featured throughout too, which was an added bonus. I loved seeing the sculpture that will be at Burning Man this year. The garden is on the smaller size for a botanical garden (some stuff was under maintenance while we were there) but the gardens were impeccable. My favorite part was all the dahlias. Stunning! Your entry ticket ($12 for adults) also includes admission to the library, which had a bonsai area and some fun history. We were able to easily find free parking nearby. All the staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the work. I definitely recommend this spot! Such a beautiful, relaxing space.

Beautiful still. We came the day before Mother's Day for the rose show. Looking forward to coming back when construction completes because at $5 admission that is kind of a rip for how much is there. It took us longer because I recognized someone at the rose show and my son is really into plants but for an average person I'd say 30-45 min is really how much is there right now until they finish the remodel

Golden West College has a wonderful library and staff here to help out with books and resources. There are good study groups too you can bond with, and make friends with in helping you reach your academic goals. Its just a wonderful library.

This is a nice library - newer than the one they had closer to the middle of campus. I like the third floor (which is the library's 2nd floor - as the first floor is occupied by their computer center/tech lab). It's pretty quiet up here most of the time and the students keep to themselves. There are plenty of outlets on the third floor so you can plug in and recharge your laptop while you study. Plenty of seating as well - I like the ones that line the HUGE picturesque glass windows that overlook the parking lot, Goldenwest Street and beyond. You can see the mountain range far far in the backdrop on clearer days. A great plus is the strong wifi connection here and also that it was nicely ventilated/air conditioned - so it creates a nice refuge from the heat waves we've been having in the area lately. The staff/librarians here are friendly - I haven't had to use any of their services or expertise, but they're always cheerful/happy looking. Restrooms are clean for the most part - the ones on the 1st and 2nd floor tend to get messy throughout the door due to the traffic, the cleanest ones I feel, are on the 3rd floor as most students don't head up that high. Hours can be a bit better - maybe open later during the week and even have hours during the weekends if budget permits. Current hours - Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs - 8a to 845p and Fridays 8am to 3p.
