I got a perfect Lavazza cappuccino that was ace tasting and it was certainly better than Starbucks. The orange juice was freshly machine-squeezed and naturally sweet tasting. The juice came out at the bottom of the machine while the orange skin was dispatched sideways. The croissant was fresh, light and crispy. There was only one server on duty who was a bit shy and reserved but I've no doubt this is reasonably explained by her lack of conversational English as a foreign language equally matched by my lack of conversational Spanish as a foreign language and of course I was the one who was the foreigner here. Oh and the technology doesn't stop here at helping to make great coffee and squeezing oranges. Oh no, customers put their payment into a machine and not to the server; coins go into a slot at the side and paper notes are fed into the front. I had exact money so it didn't need to spit out change. The bill is counted down to zero on a screen at the front of the machine as coins/notes go in and a receipt is printed automatically once the full payment is lodged. The upsides include the fact that servers handling food don't handle money - which is usually always dirty - and the server is free to focus on delivering orders but here is technology risking human employment. I'm happy to support this place.

I would recommend getting this - I almost wish I had gotten this instead of the empanada. I got an empanada with tuna and tomato inside which was good but not amazing. The sweet pastries and croissants looked great but we didn't have any of them. The cafe con leche was good, but what I particularly liked was the freshly squeezed orange juice that I could see them making to-order. I'd highly recommend getting a glass of this. Overall, nice place to come get a pastry, snack or quick breakfast. They have seats at the bar or small tables to sit and relax and the ambiance is nice with a lot of natural light and windows.

Of course, I had to investigate further! We went inside and saw many sandwiches, croissants, cookies, cupcakes, etcetera. My husband chose a chocolate croissant, and I chose a Dubai-chocolate person-shaped donut. With two non-alcoholic drinks and tax, the total price was 15 euros. An employee promptly and politely rang up our purchase. Some small tables and chairs were available. We enjoyed our croissant and donut very much.
