Don't waste your time place is a dump very rude only have one person working only cut they can get right is a buzz cut

When I went to this barber shop I thought I would get a haircut but I came out looking the same the only reason I gave them a 2 star rating is because they were nice that's it I would not recommend for a man to come here because they don't even have sharp edge blades and can't line you up or anything never coming back here ever again unless I have a daughter one day. read more

Phenomenal service! I believe my hair stylist name was Alexis. She was amazing, so good with talking to her customers and easing them into a conversation. Not to mention her skill with styling hair. I came in with some pretty long shoulder length hair and left with exactly what i wanted. I will definitely be coming back again! read more

Cost Cutters - Hair Salons Near Me - Elmire, New York

One of the worst haircuts I have EVER had. I did go in to check if they do short cuts. I scheduled because I was told, everyone that works there does them all the time. Maybe so, but clearly not well. Awful!!! read more

I went for a haircut. I have short hair and basically wanted it shaped up. The girl was friendly and started cutting my hair when she says oops! That's never a good sign. She had caught her clippers trimming my neck into my chain necklace. It cut it right in half. She handed me the two pieces and said I think you can get it fixed. Well I can't. haircut cost me $235. The necklace was a gift from my kids for Christmas and I wore it every day. The lack of concern about her mistake but unbelievable. I understand mistakes do happen, but this was a very costly mistake on her part . needless to say, I will never return nor will any of my friends or family members. They couldn't believe it. If you go do not wear jewelry. My hairline is way above my neck line where the chain hung. I am totally heartbroken over this. read more

This place is a joke. This is the third time I've booked an appointment on line only to show up and be told sorry but we don't have an appointment for you. Then I get are you sure you booked it at this address? Um yes I'm sure here's the text from you. Which clearly say your address and time. Only to get sorry you are not in the computer and all this without even making eye contact. read more

Had a confirmed reservation with a specific stylist. After waiting almost 15 minutes, I asked if someone different could just help me instead, which they allowed me to do. I arrived on time right when my reservation was, but the stylist had just started working on someone else. I would say that the stylist should check for confirmed reservations before taking on any additional work and making those with them wait longer than necessary. read more

If you need to get a quick cut, this is the place. Customer service is excellent, and I would recommend.

Well I went for my first perm ever in my lifetime and what I wanted was to have longer hair with waves and bounce to them. Plus a little curly and I emphasize on a little curly. What I ended up with was extremely short hair and very tight kinky Curls. I have blonde hair and it looks like I have a blond afro. I am 77 years old and do not want to have to look like I have a blond afro what I wanted was gentle waves and curls did not get it. I have a very important funeral to go to in the morning and I don't even own a hat if I did I would wear it I told the person that was doing my hair how important it was for me to look good the next day and I'm so embarrassed but I really don't want to have to go to the funeral but I must very unhappy. I have even looked online to see if there's any way that I can reverse this mess but I don't dare. I will never get a perm again or allow anyone to cut my hair this short again. read more

I came in the middle of the week at 3:45 in the afternoon. One person was just finishing and the other stylus pen with customers but nobody was waiting. When I ask if I can get a haircut they said they could not get to bed till 7 PM that night and getting a reason why.except they were""booked" read more

They deserve zero stars but I'm forced to give at least one. Do not go here. These people do not know how to cut hair, at all. My daughters color was wrong, the cut was horrible and the manager was rude. Even my sons hair was crooked, and let's face it, if you can't handle the simple task of cutting a little boys hair, you can't cut hair at all. The manager is actually the one who did my daughters hair, and later, when I brought the issues to the managers attention, she told me the one who cut Tyler's hair was "their best." This place is an absolute mess. I will never go back and will warn everyone I can about my experience. This isn't something you want to chance!!!! Update: They offered me several free haircuts and I politely declined. That's how horrible the place is. read more

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I came in for a trim and I don't think she actually even cut my hair; it looks the same and there was no hair on the floor. She didn't ask how much I wanted off or anything at all, she just started cutting. And I was gonna ask for more off when she finished but I didn't have a chance bc she just said "okay done" then walked to the front for me to pay. didn't care if i was satisfied at all. AWFUL SERVICE. read more

CC at Consumer Square is horrible!! Had a botched cut and color from a girl and needed to get my hair fixed before I went for carpal tunnel surgery in 3 days. I told Katie what I wanted. Full head color, with mahogany highlights to cover up the blonde and brassy gold that was in my hair, and to even put the botched cut I had gotten also. We agreed on a darker brown. I showed her a picture of how my mahogany highlights were placed and wanted the same effect. She told me she'll cover the blonde and brass color with the mahogany. Ok. I ended up with 5 different colors in my hair. Darker roots from the color someone else put on my hair, light and dark brown color everywhere, blonde still in my hair, and mahogany not even placed right. Let me talk about the cut now. She literally spent 2 minutes, IF that, evening out my cut. I asked her if she evened the sides, and she told me yes. NO she didn't! And I showed her where there was still blonde in my hair and she said to me, "well, it's not brassy anymore". And while she's doing my colors, she's gossiping to me about how a girl got fired because she was afraid to do some things on customers hair. Saying that you can't be timid, blah, blah, blah. You don't go talking bad and gossiping to a customer about someone else. I ended up spending $100.50 on a non existent cut, botched color, and mahogany foils that were very uneven, and no mahogany in the back what so ever! Plus, I felt I HAD to leave a tip. $8.00. For another botched color. That was a $108.00 wake up for me. Never again! I had to go to LaGra salon and drop another $78.00, with tip to get it recolored and trimmed the correct way. Thanks. But, no thanks! I'll stick with LaGra. They know that they're doing. Just because someone has a license in this field, doesn't make them special. And yes. I have the receipt saved from this joke of a place. And pictures. read more
