It would be a great to eat, drink, and relax while you eta and watch the kids play. My friends and I went as a going away dinner. We were seated immediately and served waters around the table. Most of us stuck to water and almost everyone ordered appetizers. My friend and I shared the cheese stuffed mushrooms. Yummy! I highly recommend this for mushroom lovers. What's not to like...fresh mushroom stuffed with fresh cheese and then grilled!?! After our appetizers were ordered we all chose different types of sushi. My friend and I shared a platter of two kinds of sushi (crunchy shrimp rolls and spicy tuna rolls), and I brought a plate of spicy crab rolls to go for my husband to snack on. I was very pleased with my orders and even more pleased with the portion and price. Half off on sushi comes in handy for sure! I wish I would have ordered more to take home.

I went right before Valentines Day so they had the entrance and seating areas decorated very nicely with hearts all around. We were offered any seat in the house so we chose the the side seating area to be away from the other patrons. Our server was very friendly and suggested a few items on the menu for us. I was disappointed when they did not offer a kid's menu. Both of my boys wanted spaghetti, and my friend and I shared the large sushi platter. Their spaghetti bowls were loaded with a large portion of noodles, meaty sauce, and topped with fresh grated parmesan cheese. There was easily a full portion left over for each of them too. Our sushi boat had at least 4 types of sushi with several pieces to share and was presented very nicely. It was delicious! After our meals, our server offered us a complementary dessert. We chose the cheesecake. I wasn't too impressed with the taste since it was rather dry for cheesecake, but I thought it was very sweet of them to offer it. Our kids devoured it for us. =) I was overall very pleased with the meal, but I hope to visit again with just my husband. I would not recommend this place for families since they do not offer kid meal's so you have to pay for a full menu item. It isn't too terribly pricey, but with multiple children it can be.

My server did not steer me wrong when I asked his opinon. My steak was served kebab style with red and green bell peppers between each huge cut of steak. My only issue with sitting outside was having to deal with the cigarette smoke. The decor was made to look like an older french home with it's comfy chairs, panel walls with flower pictures and Singer sewing machine tables with metal table tops to eat on. I went upstairs to visit the restroom and view the rest of the restaurants/pub. The two stall bathroom was very clean and well stocked. The inside restaurant was dim lit and had very intimate seats for couples throughout. The restaurant has the look of an Irish pub from it's plaid cloth flooring and steps to The North Shield crest along the walls. This is definitely a great restaurant to grab a drink, eat, and relax with friends or significant other. I want to come back and sit inside to enjoy the decor and atmosphere. My family and I can easily state the owners and workers there some of the nicest Turkish people we have met in our two years there. I was lucky enough to go a couple of times for squadron dining experiences. Our large group sat in the inside dining room and ordered a variety of our favorite dishes and then went in their kitchen to watch them make everything. It was awesome!!! Now let's hope I can create the same deliciousness like they did. My husband also had his last going away dinner for about 25 of our closest friends. We took up a larger corner of the covered dining area. Jay (our favorite server) went above and beyond bring plates, salads, drinks, etc for our large group. You can use your punch card to get your 9th combo meal free. They offer 10% off your purchase if you use your Star Card or an AAFES gift card too. The employees are very nice, helpful, and patient. They keep their tables in the area clean. They also offer delivery but that can take a while. It gets very busy during the lunch hours so it's best to come right at opening (11:00) or wait until around 12:30.
