I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now. It was definitely worth it! Our group was greeted immediately upon walking up and being seated. I was overwhelmed with options to choose from on their menu. The drink menu is even larger too. Our server took our drink orders quickly and then brought us oil with seasoning and sliced green and black olives. We dipped a variety of fresh breads and bagel chips in the oil mixture. My husband and I started off with the Combo Latino which was a decent portion of wedge fries, two onion rings, two jalapeno poppers, two cheese sticks, and a side of spicy sweet and sour sauce. Everything was very tasty and served at a hot temperature. My husband chose "The Swinging Meat", and I chose the "Steak Mexicana". My husbands food was nothing like I had ever seen before. He was served a platter built up with four hooks swinging from a rod. He had skewers of chicken, lamb, and steak. He was served tortillas to go with the meat and sides of salad and wedge fries. My server did not steer me wrong when I asked his opinon. My steak was served kebab style with red and green bell peppers between each huge cut of steak. The steak was tender and seasoned nicely...it was delicious! I was also served a bowl of salad, wedge fries, and a couple of tortillas. We were seated outside in the canopy like side porch area. My only issue with sitting outside was having to deal with the cigarette smoke. Unless you were sitting up close to the front it was rather annoying to smell it..definitely something I am not used to these days. The decor was made to look like an older french home with it's comfy chairs, panel walls with flower pictures and Singer sewing machine tables with metal table tops to eat on. I went upstairs to visit the restroom and view the rest of the restaurants/pub. The two stall bathroom was very clean and well stocked. The inside restaurant was dim lit and had very intimate seats for couples throughout. The restaurant has the look of an Irish pub from it's plaid cloth flooring and steps to The North Shield crest along the walls. This is definitely a great restaurant to grab a drink, eat, and relax with friends or significant other. I want to come back and sit inside to enjoy the decor and atmosphere. I was very pleased with the prices too. We paid under $55 for an appetizer, two meals, two beers, and water. Very reasonable! read more

I tried the chicken with saffron and it was delicious. It comes with steamed vegetables cooked perfectly and potatoes wedges seasoned perfectly. I also tried a friends carpaccio and steak with blue cheese. The place has a great atmosphere and a lot of the staff speak English so that is nice since my Turkish needs a lot of work. It is on the pricey side for Adana but the food is good and I really enjoyed the patio. read more

Oh how I miss this place. I lived in Ankara for about a year and would frequent this establishment. Four years later and I can't forget their steak meal. They made two of the four best steaks I have ever had. Dang I miss you North Shield! read more

7 Haziran 2022 de akşam yemeği için 3 kişi gittik. Masaların konumu, dekorasyon, ortamın havası ortalamanın biraz üstü. Tatlı ekşi Çin usulü tavuk, tavuklu noodle ve vejeteryan pizza söyledik. Masaya önce zeytin yağı, zeytin kırıkları ile ekmek geldi. Ekmekler (dinnerroll) taze ve lezzetliydi. Başka da hiç bir yemek lezzetli değildi. Daha sonra masaya mekanın adı, havası vs ile hiç ama hiç alakası olamayan kağıt amerikan servisler açtılar. Bir gümrük işletmesinin reklamıydı. Yemek yediğimiz servislerin üzerinde koca tırları görmek hiç de iştah açıcı değildi. Adana sıcak memleket masaya sorulmadan su servisi yapılmaması bence büyük eksiklik. Suyu cam şişede ücretli olarak servis ediyorlar ama bence masaya mutlaka ücretsiz su servisi yapılmalı. Tavuklu noodle, hemen hiç lezzeti yoktu. Soysos koyulması unutulmuş ya da çok az koyulmuştu. Tavuklar kuru sosu hiç çekmemiş, sebzeler çok ince kesilmiş ve muhtemelen çoook önce pişirilmiş. Çok açtım yedim ama kesinlikle bir daha imkansız! Yemek masaya geldikten sonra servis elemanları bir daha hiç masaya uğramadığından soy sos bile isteyemedim. Vejeteryan pizza başlı başına bir olay booool ne olduğu belli olmayan, uAmayan, kalıp gibi pizzada donmuş peynir koyulmuş, sıfır lezzet, sebze olarak sadece mantarı kabul ediyor olmalılar nerdeyse başka sebze yoktu, pizza sosu çok az koyulmuş, hamuru çıtır değil. Sipariş sahibi arkadaş benim kadar açtı ama ancak 3 dilim yiyebildi. Tatlı ekşi tavuk çok yağlıydı , sipariş veren arkadaşa göre tatlı ya da ekşi değildi. Tatsız bir sosun içine atılmış tavuk parçaları ve sebzeler çin usulü tavuk olarak servis edilmişti diyebiliriz. Northshields'ın eski havası da tadı da lezzeti de kalmamış. It was busy. And to be fair our Turkish was all thanks to google translate. I started off with the Toblerone cocktail. It was good. I would totally get it again, but not before I tried other items. However, if the ice was strained out and there was a garnish like chocolate it would totally turn up the wow factor. Otherwise next time I might just go for wine (Turkey has some excellent wines! I got the loam (beef tenderloin?). Unfortunately mine was overcooked. But - it was still tasty. I can only imagine what it would taste like if cooked to my Liking. My dinner companion got pepper steak which was cooked perfectly. My dish came with a wonderful mushroom medley. (I could eat several bowls of it) and mashed potatoes 9 but was supposed to be fries) Loved the ambiance and would totally go here again.

If this is your first time eating here, ask for the special tea. Great service. Staff make sure that you are taken care of. Little did I know that we would drink, eat, and dance for a couple of hours! We went downstairs to the bar area. Our servers moved couches for us since we had a large number of us. My friends ordered strawberry mojitos while I ordered a strawberry banana Margarita. I wasn't pleased with my drink (not sweet enough). Our server exchanged my drink for another very quickly without any questions. We then ordered foo and desserts. WOW all of it was delicious!!!!!! I tried a pizza (pepperoni and veggies), strawberry cheesecake, two different pasta dishes, and the bread. Once we finished eating the DJ started playing music to dance to. We had a blast!!! I must say the restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely. It has a nice romantic setting to it. I cannot wait to go back with my husband for a date night. After taking a look at all the great cocktails they had, I settled on a classic - the penicillin. I was so pleased at how well this cocktail tasted - it was perfectly balanced. If I had one critique it would be to not put so much ice in the glass itself, but I would still buy this drink over and over again. Definitely try Dante Kitchen for cocktails - I would love to go back and get food....and drinks too!

You can also visit the cash window and cash a check (if you are a Club member) or use the ATM. We mainly visit for our monthly Mega Moolah night and Free Club Member brunch. Christmas parties are held here for many of the squadrons, and you can rent the ballroom out for parties on certain dates. The Club offers many monthly events that is open to the base: Corn hole tournaments, Canvases and Cocktails, Latin Night, Kids Bingo, and many more events.

I really only make It over here for big events and every once in a while I'll go to the club on a…read morenight if everyone's hanging out and I'm off work. As far as the club goes the drinks are fair priced and usually the bartender has a heavy hand they have a good area where people are dancing. The DJ usually plays some good music and there is different themed nights like Latin night. And of course my favorite there are slot machines! Even though I like slot machines the least I have to sometimes get my gambling fix in you know! In the back area they have cornhole and pool tables and also have dart boards but the dart boards usually have people in the way since it is in near the dance area. The pool tables are not in the best shape, they have been there quite a while. That's the club! The ballroom is really nice, lots of space, a bar, a stage, and I've never had a problem or felt crammed in at any event I have been to!
