I paid around $10,000 for tattoo removal and was under the impression I had a full treatment plan (10 rounds across 3 areas). I have only completed 8 rounds, so I KNOW I still have sessions left. Out of nowhere, I was told I had no remaining sessions. This isn't even the first time this has happened--previously, they told me the same thing, then later admitted it was a mistake and that I did in fact have sessions left. This time, they said they needed to "review my account" and would get back to me... and they never did. Now I'm stuck with a partially faded tattoo that isn't fully removed, after investing a significant amount of money and time. The lack of organization, accountability, and follow-through is honestly unacceptable for a company at this price point. If you're considering LaserAway, I would strongly recommend keeping detailed records of every session and communication, because clearly their internal tracking system is unreliable. However, I was originally told that my medical license needed to be verified in order to receive access to the course. So what was the purpose in license verification? The owner proceeded to tell me that it was my fault for purchasing an aesthetician course and refused to refund my money. In fact, in a most unprofessional outcome, I was hung up on. The fraudulent claims of what the course offered inevitably led to "AW Aesthetics" stealing my $500. The following is directly from the AW Aesthetics website: WHAT WILL YOU LEARN? - Learn how to use PRP to treat fine lines around lips, skin laxity of the neck, crow's feet, hair growth on the scalp regeneration, stretch marks scar improvement. In this statement, there is absolutely no reference to the fact that PRP is only used with microneedling vs injection. It is the responsibility of the business to clarify the level of expertise with which the courses are geared towards. I was under the assumption that I would be provided with education to further my practice since I had to provide proof of my medical license. This business practices in a shameful manner.
