The wood floor also had water damage where the dishwasher had been. Mark sent me immediately an estimate that was way within my budget. The work was stated almost immediately. Our deck had to be redone three times and still has a board coming up less than 2 years after installed. Early on Tom bragged about buying containers full of lumber that was too bad for Lowe's to sell. Then when we complained about it, he must've forgotten. He told us and insisted that that was the best lumber he could get. It had major splits, warping, and some even had the bark still on it. They painted and installed flooring in the middle of the project rather than the end. So we had lots of paint damage to get up months later when the 'cleaners' arrived. Things had to be done more than once on so.... many things. We never knew if they were coming or not until they showed up. We went for days with no one in the house. Management was rarely here, and then they had the nerve to yell at us for talking to their contractors and solving problems by ourselves. When we couldn't get a hold of them. That's what we thought we were paying THEM to do. They damaged property and never compensated us for it. They made mistakes that weren't up to code and expected us to pay for the do over. We had to take the lead and communication and have hundreds of pages of texts and emails to prove it . Then they got nasty about us "bugging" them so much. The subs used were a joke. The pulled all sorts of things out of the crawl space and left a mess. Also, they put the pipes really low, rather than up into the rafters as they should have. The electricians weren't much better. We had a four-way switch that was worked on four or five times and never was made right before they left the job. We hired someone and he had it fixed in 45 minutes. Joel and Tom might run a family business, but they are certainly not professional in any way shape or form. I don't know how they got these great reviews, must be family members. Several of their workers said that they treat many of their customers the same way.
