All the clothes were made in Europe and the materials, the stitching and the detailing were excellent. Recently, El Ganso shifted all of their manufacturing to China. The decline in quality is incredible... you can tell simply by looking at the clothes that they are cheaper and less durable. Sadly, I doubt I will ever go into another El Ganso after my most recent visit. Once again the pursuit of coin at all cost has destroyed a once great brand.

Bought an amazing pair of handmade men's dress shoes while visiting Salamanca. The owner and his…read morebrother make them. Truly old world craftsmanship at it's best, all reasonably priced. They also have a great selection of men's and women's boots, handbags, briefcases and belts, although I'm not certain if they personally make them too, or if they are sourced from other local artisans. As a tourist from a country that doesn't have shops like this, it was a great experience.
