I sent packages on the 10th of Dec and paid an extra 20 euro for priority mail and was told that it would take 10-12 days, max. 15. The person whom assisted me, spoke perfect English and I asked several times if this person was sure my family would get their gifts by the 25th and was assured. It even states on their website the same time frame and boasts that the service is guaranteed. It also states that they go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. BS. It took 21 days to arrive. OBVIOUSLY, anyone in their right mind would not pay the extra 20 euro, IF, it would not arrive on time. Completely defeats the purpose of paying for priority service. Secondly, I also paid for insurance. I worked at another shipping company many years ago and know how to pack things, that is just common sense. The box was completely bashed from all sides and the majority of the contents shattered, literally. Pictures were taken at final destination. Following it online, I discovered when it was delivered. I went to the office to complain, they sympathized with me and overall, were kind and said it should have arrived much earlier. I have filed numerous complaints by myself and with the help of both post masters, at this location. Everyone there, stated everything is sent to Madrid. Each response, either sent to me by regular mail or via e-mail, states that the package arrived in the "plaza" of time stated. Nope, that is incorrect according to the site and the weight and dimensions of my package. I looked online for the last complaint and the only response was, that the issue has been resolved. I have NEVER received official confirmation, via snail mail or e-mail. Really?? According to whom? I will now file a consumer complaint and voice my opinion not to get ripped off for horrible service to everyone I meet that sends post cards, letters or has any other service needed to send packages, etc. Furthermore, if anyone actually takes the time to read the back of your copy of the document that has the information about your package, AFTER the fact, it states that the sender is responsible for everything-meaning YOU, not the post office. So why do they guarantee the service at your expense and not DELIVER?! Who is legally the sender? Did I not pay an extra price for an added service? Look, it is not only the money spent, but the principal point of the matter. Use an alternative service to send packages, where the service is indeed, guaranteed. You know the letters.
