We came to Houston for my wife's surgery, and were fortunate to find a place through Corporate Apartment Network at The Circle at Hermann Park. Tammy was incredibly helpful, especially when it turned out we had to stay longer than planned and so needed to extend our rental. We wound up having to move to a different apartment for the extension. Since that happened on short notice, during the Houston Rodeo no less, I am grateful Tammy was able to find us a place in the same complex at all! Both apartments were well-outfitted with towels, linens, kitchen stuff. There were a couple other things we requested and Tammy was able to provide them. Having a real apartment where you can cook your own meals is so much better than being in a hotel. Hopefully we won't need to come back to Houston, at least not for medical stuff. My wife and I moved down to Houston for breast cancer treatment. We were in a huge rush to find a place to stay and got hooked up with corporate apartment network. They were very accommodating getting us into a 3 bedroom apartment in the amalfi apartment homes. That's were everything fell apart. When we moved in there lots of dead bugs in the decorations that the company had put out. Most of the blinds didn't work. There were ants and roaches everywhere. The dryer was broken. There were what appeared to be blood spots on the walls. The windows leaked every time it rained. The kitchen sink baked up more than once. The dishwasher was about to fall out of the cabinet. The company attempted to fix most of the issues. But when they charge $5,575.00 a month $180 per day I expect to not have to deal with these type of issues. My advice is steer clear of this company. There are many other companies out there and all of them seem to charge less. I moved out after a month and I am in talks with them to try to recoup some of my $5,575.00. Finally spoke with a manager who offered to waive the $175.00 cleaning fee and the $350.00 pet fee. I argued that wasn't sufficient and he told me to pack sand. I leased apartments at the Amalfi and the Esplanade complexes, Corporate Apartment Network, at the Circle on Hermann Park, for two extended stays in February and March 2017. I traveled to Houston from my home in Austin to be with friends, one of whom was having surgery at Hermann Memorial Hospital. On both occasions my leasing agent was Tammy Parsons. An Austin friend recommended CAN and I'm glad she did. In February, Tammy quickly helped me find the right unit for a very reasonable rate in the same complex with my friends. My studio apartment in the Amalfi was ideal: fully furnished, impeccably clean, quiet, safe for a single woman traveler, and within pleasant walking distance from the hospital complex where I spent most of my time. When I needed to extend my stay by a couple of days, Tammy quickly accomplished the change. My second apartment in March was a one bedroom in the Esplanade. My visit coincided with Rodeo, so I was lucky to find an available unit, but Tammy kept looking until she found something that worked for my dates. This unit was also spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Being able to come "home" at night, run in Hermann Park, or in the Esplanade's fully equipped exercise suite, cook a decent meal, enjoy peace and quiet after a day of hospital bustle, and get a sound night's sleep were absolutely essential. The CAN complexes are clean, safe and relaxing. I still can't believe these lovely apartments, with all the amenities, are so incredibly reasonable. During the Rodeo period, hotel rates were exorbitant, but the Esplanade remained affordable. The most important thing about both leasing experiences was the expert work of Tammy Parsons, particularly during the March residence. Due to a medical complication, my friends and I needed to stay on longer than the intended month's lease. Tammy worked with us daily until she was able to solve the complicated process of extending my lease on an as-needed basis, during a busy time when few units were available, so my friends could be accommodated after their original lease expired. She recognized how distressful our situation was and never abandoned us. Tammy kept working until we had a solution. Tammy's kindness and expertise were essential for securing a recovery haven, and relieving stress during a worrisome time. She was always available by email, responding quickly to inquiries, and working tirelessly to help us, with great success. We weren't her only clients, but we felt as if we were. In addition, CAN property staff was readily available on-site to answer questions and provide assistance. Staff members helped me mail packages, find boxes for moving out, print documents, use the business center's computers, and navigate Houston. The entire rental process from move-in to check-out was seamless. My experience with CAN, Tammy Parsons, and the Amalfi/Esplanade residences was absolutely ideal. My father had cancer that required radiation treatments at MD Anderson and we were looking for a place to stay for 6-7 weeks. Amanda, Cathy, and Doug were all extremely helpful and very accommodating. Amanda located a 3 BR apartment at The Circle at Hermann Park. Everything worked very well and the apartment was very nice, comfortable, and quiet. We were blessed to be able to stay somewhere where we could cook our own meals because my father didn't want to get out much toward the end of his treatments.
