First, we booked "6" premium rooms with double beds 6 months before arriving. On arrival we received 6 rooms scattered all around the hotel none close to each-other! Then it seems they gave a way one of our premium room so the a dingle bed room but fixed it with a mattress laying on the floor. Next, when we booked we requested the children's room to be next to parents room. Again the placed the children rooms 5 rooms away. Front desk agents had ZERO answers zero answers for the problem! Basically didn't try to fix anything! Got a manager on the phone because there was no manager there . Manager promised to fix the problem the very next day. After that phone call ended spoke with the front desk agent again, and they said they were surprised at the manager, guaranteed the problem to be fixed because there was no room for us to move to the very next day ! So I guess the managers a bullshitter! I would give this hotel a -10 stars but at this website it's not allowed, so all I can give it is a one star! Very nice hotel. Nice service. Relatively inexpensive. Unfortunately I got food poisoning from the Pork Belly at the restaurant so I can't give this place a full score. The massages offered are $14, so cheap. Unfortunately they didnt offer it with music playing - feels like an easy way to plus it up. The breakfasts in the morning are good. Plenty of cereal options. Lots of sweets. Would be nice for it to be included in the price but it's only 395 pesos per breakfast. The rooms are decorated well. Unfortunately it's satellite tv with channels that show interesting choices for movies. Wish it could be Netflix or something. read more

Very nice hotel, the only caveat is it is far from the town. About 10min tricycle ride to Coron Town Proper. It is a quite area tho, for those looking to chill. No access to the beach but they have 3 pools. Great vibes on the restaurant, they play music every night. But the breakfast buffet was meh. They have a cockatoo named Whitey and he's such a cutie. He sings and greets people at the entrance. Male sure to say hi to him. read more

5stars for the staff. ALL the staff are very nice. They are kind, nice, polite, gentleman, helpful and they are easy to talk too. They understand and speak English too. 3stars for cleanliness. I found cockroaches in the bathroom. I have a kid with me so it's a big no no. They clean our room, but on the 3day they just fix our beds, they didn't even give us new towels, no toilet papers and they didn't throw away our trash 4stars for the food. Most of the food are good. Except for the tuna that I had for breakfast. The price was okay, some of the food in the menu is pricey. Some of The portion of the food is big. 3stars for the price of the hotel. Well it's very pricey. Wifi is not included, you have to pay wifi per day and per device. Shuttle going to hotel and dropping off to the airport is not include, EACH person needs to pay, young kids are not free. All you can eat breakfast is not included too. 4stars for the hotel ambiance,design. Big swimming pool. I like the fish pond. The rooms are spacious. They have complimentary 3bottle waters. The tv in the room is not that clear. They have gym, and spa I think it lacks of entertainment for the kids. Also!!! Randomly the power will go off. Like no lights. No internet. No electricity. Bait and Switch Scam Beware! They sold me the top of the line room, but when I got here they switched me to the lowest level room. We are so remote and far away from home there is little recourse we have besides warning you. They will not refund or price adjust. This was our home away from home. The place where at the end of the night we put our head down and rest for whatever activities we may be doing the next day. Whether it be in town adventures, island beach hopping, snorkeling, scuba diving. You day begins and ends here at Coron Westown Resort. Free shuttle from the airport, an awesome lobby with free wifi, 3 pools, a workout room, a bar, a coffee shop, function halls, business centre and electronic touch elevators. WOW!!! All that for roughly around 85usd is a gosh darn bargain. Btw, there is in room wifi, but that one is 100php/12hrs... that's 2.50usd, don't be kuripot, that's actually very cheap. It might not be the fastest internet, but it's enough to post pictures from your trip to make everyone on Instagram and Facebook jealous. We stayed 7days and 6 nights here. We arrived and we just straight up relaxed. The next day, figured out what there is to do in town, practiced snorkeling in the pool, ate out and came back and slept. The 3rd day we did the snorkeling tour. 4th day God rested. 5th day we did island beach hopping tour. The 6th day we rented motor bikes and rode around the island. 7th, we went home. Each and every end of those days, we came back here and rested. The rooms here are awesome. It's spacious, it's airconditioned, there's cable tv, there's a massive bathroom, and the bed is super comfy. The staff is extremely attentive. They are always there specially when you need anything or have any questions about whatever. Definitely always ready to give you everything short of a foot massage. I think that one you have to pay for. Thank you so much Coron Westown Resort. I had a great time staying with you guys, specially the live band nights. This would most likely get more stars if they had a bar that opens earlier than 10:30... i'm on vacation and you have no bars? Wtf. The massage spa is nice as well as the food. The bar itself is cool when it opens because it has live music and friendly bartenders. Change your hours! If food starts at 630AM, maybe the bar should follow suit? Absolutely beautiful resort! When visiting Coron you are not seeking the party scene. This area is full of scenic views and a must visit for nature lovers. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the Busuanga Airport. You can arrange for a service from the hotel for 150php per person each way. When you check into the hotel you are greeted with a Kalamansi Juice welcome drink - very refreshing! Rooms are beautiful and modern. There are 3 pools, including a dive pool. Breakfast buffet is included each morning and staff are all polite and willing to help in any way. Wifi is only in the lobby and restaurant areas and isn't really the greatest - but if your visiting Coron - disconnect for once!! We did tours through the hotel and were very pleased with the third party company - but that's another review ;) read more

Today is my last night I would like to give this place a 4 or five star but I'm giving it a three on how chill clean not too overcrowded love the views and the rooms are amazing big and comfortable the breakfast buffet is really amazing you can't go wrong with it that gets a 5 Star. The bad parts are many start off with they charge for everything no free shuttle to town and the worst of it all is the internet not worth paying for it save you're 100 Pesos it's soooooo bad don't even bother trying the free wifi it never worked and every time you called service for extra coffee cups or towels it's like you telling them to come and give you a massage the food is great but it's like the restaurant people don't really like their jobs you have to constantly ask for water they pass by you they see the empty cup and it's like it hurts them to give you more water overall we enjoyed ourself specially with the tours but this place needs to work on many issues specially the elevators redo the floor and seal them cause mold is building up inside that floor and that internet .... read more

It's our first time visiting Coron and I'm glad that I made the choice to stay at this hotel. It's a bit far from the town, but they do offer variety of rides to get around. Everyone was very attentive and approachable. They have plenty of food to select from their menu and drinks as well. Although of course everything comes with a price, but for the most part I found it worth it rather than going somewhere for food or drinks. read more

The resort was okay, the pool area was very nice. The bathrooms in the rooms are spacious and nice, the balconies are very beautiful and relaxing. The restaurant was not good at all. They didn't have my choice of meal (beef with Broccoli) and the lumpia was just a piece of meat wrapped in dough. The meals weren't very tasty and for the price were fairly small. For that fact I'm giving it a low rating, but the staff was friendly and other than bugs and geckos was a pleasant stay. read more

My family and I had an incredible time at the Westown Resort in Coron this past December. Very rarely do you find lodging that comes close to hitting three keys: 1) value; 2) service; 3) environment/facilities - and this hotel did, in fact, have all those things for our stay. I did a lot of research into the other hotels nearby, and am so glad we ended up choosing this place due to the convenience in proximity to the main port to beautiful waters, cozy/traditional towns with great restaurants, and an amazing resort escape with a not crowded pool with views of the mountains. The piece that exceeded expectations - and I must name this individual - the lovely manager at the front desk Jeffrey Batiancila basically saved the day on one of our stays. We found out that our reservation got lost through another company for the Fireflies Dinner Tour and were sorely disappointed, until Jeffrey swiftly came to our rescue and quickly arranged another dinner tour for us. He knew how important it was for our family to come together to enjoy our final night in Coron, and certainly went above and beyond to ensure that there was no damper to our experience at Westown. He worked with the Westown staff to accommodate us even at the final hour to provide an evening (and stay) that we will never forget. Can't recommend this place enough and hope to visit again in the future if the opportunity permits. read more

My photo sums it all. STAY AWAY! Rooms smell musty, bathroom has water stains and tiles falling apart, bed squeaks every time we get up, and many more. On our second day, we had breakfast at their cafe then my son started throwing up followed by watery stools. My husband had a stomachache and fever same day. The following day, my niece, daughter and I had the same problem (vomiting followed by diarrhea). We cancelled our boat tour and the boatman had the audacity to charge us even though all of us are already sick. It's not like we planned to be sick! It's such a traumatic experience having the feeling of nonstop vomiting and a sudden gush of water coming out of your a**! We read from TripAdvisor that this is a regular occurrence at this hotel. When we finally complained at the front desk they said no one said anything about it. When on our first night I already saw a family of 3 complaining of their teenage son having the same symptoms that we experienced. They do have positive aspects such as the friendly and courteous staff, massage at the spa was good but those were outweighed by the fact that we wasted our money coming to Palawan just to stay in the room and not be able to experience the beauty of the place. read more
