Always fast friendly service, and a traditional steak pasty is the best pasty in Exeter.

Possibly one of the best welcomes I have had in a food establishment, staff were incredibly friendly, happy and helpful, going out of their way to make every customers experience the best they could. The place was clean, tidy and tables were cleaned quickly. The food was perfect, fresh, hot and tasty! Sausage roll had great flakey pastry and a great filling. If anyone was in Exeter and nibblish, I would highly recommend this place! Price wise it was cheaper than fast food and far better tasting. It's hard to go wrong in Devon or Cornwall with Pasty shops, but when I'm in the mood for a good Traditional or even a nice Sausage roll, this is my go to place. This is a truly splendid pasty shop and they without a doubt sell the best pasties in Exeter! They are proper cornish pasties which are handmade in Cornwall so they will taste a little different to the pasties you buy from other bakeries. They have a small seating area inside as well as a few tables outside so you can eat in or takeaway. Their range of pasties is quite varied including dessert pasties with apple and blackcurrant in. They also sell a range of cakes and drinks. The staff are always friendly and helpful if a little slow at busy times. read more

A small place by the Queen Street entrance to the Guidhall, it sells a large variety of pasteis all of which are of exceptional quality. Buy from the takeaway counter or take a seat and eat in. This is a lovely pasty shop right in the centre of town off Queen Street- that also does pies and jacket potatoes and the like. You can sit in their little cafe section, or take away (and perch on the Guildhall steps!). Delicious hot food, great for lunch on a wintery day. read more

Excellent food, cheap prices! I love this shop so much - it used to be the case that they'd only be open on Sundays when it was close to Christmas, but it seems public demand has forced them to open on Sundays throughout the year - at least I hope that this is the case. You can get genuinely Cornish delicious pasties from here even if you're not in Cornwall. If you turn up towards closing time, they quite often have buy one get one free offers on their cold pasties - I once bought 12 in one go! I can't get enough of this place, I just wish there was one on the university campus. read more

The prices are ok, especially considering the quality of food you get to enjoy. The pies are probably not as nice as the pasties - I'd say just below full score, but a bakery you should absolutely check out, especially if you like nice pasties. read more

The best bakers in Exeter (maybe a bit bias) but I love their pasties they are just delicious. They bake custom made pasties for example lamb and mint. In my opinion you can't beat the classic steak pasty but that's for you to decide. read more
