We had a joint Bronze policy with Blue Shield that Bill had set up for us two years ago. When I was several months from turning 65 Bill set me up with a great Medicare Supplemental Insurance policy as we as a supplemental Prescription program, both at a great value. Blue Shield insurance company was taking direct deposits directly for the Bronze insurance company for two years. I called Blue Shield in November 2018 informing them that I was going on Medicare would be dropping off the Bronze policy and could they please continue with Laurie's policy and continue her on the policy and continue the direct deposits, they said they would and no problem. The next communication from Blue Shield was a letter received by Laurie on Dec 17th informing her a full payment was due and must be received by them by 12/20/2018, we mailed the check out the same day. At the time we were not aware that Blue Shield would be cancelling Laurie's policy and due to the Christmas mail, it would be impossible to get a check to them by their required date. Around the 1st week of February we had not received anything from Blue Shield, and I called them at that time and explained the circumstances. The person this time at Blue Shield informed us that a new card for Laurie would be mailed within the next week and to please call when the card was received and setup payment. Two weeks passed and we had not heard anything from Blue Shield, we called them again, at this time they informed us Laurie's insurance had been canceled due to the fact the check we sent them had been received beyond the Dec 20th date. At that time, we researched our bank to see that they had not cashed the check until January 4th. Three calls, three different stories from three different people at Blue Shield, the company cannot be trusted and the people that work there are totally incompetent. I would never ever recommend Blue Shield to anyone, they are a total scam. This is when we called Bill again told him what was happening, he suggested that we fill a complaint with the California Department of Insurance concerning Blue Shield, he told us he would call them. He got them to agree to the refund the check we had sent them in December, as well as now has gotten Laurie's insurance in place as of March 1st, 2019. We will have Bill switch Laurie over to the same supplemental Medicare policies I have once Laurie turns 65 in August and finally be done with the nightmare named Blue Shield. Thanks Bill

Two weeks after the purchase and escrow already closed I received a phone call that the insurance company we assigned could not ensure the cabin. I was in shock that I had to find another company! Back then you had to look in the Yellow Pages to find insurance . After calling many insurance agents and not getting anywhere , I dialed "Bill Youngblood insurance agency" .Bill and me had a great conversation , with him explaining home insurance including getting it at great price! Bill and me have been friends ever since! For a few years now Zach that is in the office too, has been helping me on my never ending calls to him to keep up our insurance needs and changing times in our life. Zach is all over it helping me!     Non responsive waste of time -- AVOID!…read more I spent 90 mins with an employee Christine over an extensive quote ... giving all the specifics answering all her questions ... after a week of not hearing anything I emailed her and received a notification that she is no longer with the company. I called and a woman said she'd look into it finding my name in their system. After another week -- nothing. I called again and the sane woman apologized and said that Mike Williams will get back to me within a hour with the quote. ( Keep in mind this is thousands and thousands worth of coverage.). I waited 4 more days and called a 4th time and told the woman I never heard from anyone. "Someone will get back to you". Yeah rrrrrright. No wonder Christine left. Just steer clear and AVOID PC Insurance.

    Wanted to update my experience with Canyon Pacific Insurance. I've been with them for several…read moreyears, mainly because they offer great insurance at a fair price. Living in the Mountains can be difficult finding homeowners insurance, fire, snow etc. But I've been fortunate with Mike Williams at CPI, to take care of things. I've even sent several friends to CPI because of the ease and affordability. As of now, my roommate has auto insurance with CPI, I have renters, homeowners and auto insurance with them. In sum, I appreciate the ease in which my needs are taken care of, and of course the price. I don't do email/docu sign computer stuff, so CPI sends everything via USPS. Which allows this old man (stuck in the past) peace of mind. Highly recommend for any and all someone's insurance needs. Sincerely, Micheal Wyatt
