She notified our apartment complex before ever notifying us saying the policy was about to be cancelled and proceeded even upon request via email to not call me and cancelled our policy and notified us 4 days after she cancelled the policy and all this during the floods here in Charleston. I happened upon it on my Resy app while looking for somewhere to celebrate, and I'm so glad I did! The restaurant is located in a small strip shopping center, but once you step inside, you would never know it. It has a great atmosphere, beautiful décor, and a really nice vibe. We started with the crispy calamari, which came with a delicious chili-lime sauce. My husband isn't a big fan of a lot of sauce, so we ordered it on the side. That worked out perfectly because I could enjoy plenty of the sauce while he enjoyed his calamari without it being covered. I had the Angels Oak Cab/Malbec blend, which was a smooth, rich wine. For my entrée, I chose the prime rib melt. The meat was tender and flavorful, and I opted to pay the upcharge for the mac and cheese as my side. It was good, although it was a little different from the traditional Southern-style mac and cheese you typically find around here.
