The staff is wonderful, the sites are all nice and level. Pool is beautiful and the clubhouse (fitness center, business center, bathrooms w/showers) is very nice and well kept. Although at the intersection of two major highways, we don't notice the noise much (although we live basically at that same intersection so maybe we are just used to it). The pool gives resort vibes with pretty waterfalls, very relaxing and peaceful. The RV spots are a great size, paved, and perfectly level. Although the park is conveniently located right off the highway, it's incredibly quiet. We didn't hear any road noise at all, and the park overall had a calm, peaceful atmosphere. We'll definitely be staying here again when we're in the area!

They both took us in as if they had known us forever. So welcoming. My husband and I were able to walk around the corner to a nice dinner. The home was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We live about an hour from the Chaska house and it was nice to get away for an evening. Breakfast was served at 9am and it was delicious!! I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Chaska house. We are ready to book our next stay and can't wait to see them again. There are 3 cabins on the property - sleeping about 20-25 total. The accommodations were sweet and cozy, out on a ranch, surrounded by a beautiful wooded area and creek. We enjoyed a sing-along around the campfire, and held a music retreat that suited our needs for privacy and enjoyment indoors and out. The cabin/ retreat house gave us comfortable easy-going farm-house feel. The bedding and kitchens were accessible and easy to use. We brought in our own catering. This is not a high-end resort, but a comfortable, clean and outstanding location for a church group, wedding, or family reunion. Away from the city lights, a friend that stayed here in August, reported a wonderful meteor shower and multiple shooting stars!

The selection of RV Parks in this area is generally not great, so this brand new park was a nice…read moresurprise. We visit family in the area and most parks don't have concrete pads or any amenities but Chuck's does! Because it is new, not everything is ready yet, but there will be lots to do once it's all done. The couple who checked us in were super nice and the location is very easy to get in and out of. It is close to Highway 175, so you get a little bit of road noise, but not too bad. If you are visiting the area, I highly recommend Chuck's as your best option for an RV park.

Let me first clarify, this is the closest "campground" to downtown Dallas. The RV daily spots are…read morein the front, but since you have to go towards the back, into the trailer park, you get to experience the entire property when you check in. Do be scared. Be very scared. I decided to give it a whirl and take it all in as an "experience". Plus, I wasn't the one who picked the place out and I didn't want to be rude. The sign out front says Lady Luck "Modern". I would say that this is anything but modern. It's by far the oldest RV park I've ever been to. I'm guessing it has about 100 spots, only about 5 were available for the daily stays, making it 95% of a trailer park. Like, chain link fence around the RV spots, "beware of the dog" postings, trailer park. Yep. I'm rating a trailer park a four. Why? Because it was super cheap for our two night stay, with full hook ups, and it is like 10 minutes to downtown Dallas. I didn't stay outside or use the amenities anyways and the only time I drove toward the middle of the property was at check in. I stayed two nights and I only seen two people outside while I was there. So, the residents keep to themselves. I would definitely not bring a kid here, not only because of the previous reviews, but because the "playground" looked to be from the 1970s. Actually come to think of it, the entire property was straight up out of the 1970s. I mean, I like vintage and all, but this was slightly risky. The dog park, that's a similar story to the playground. The owners must collect old signs and metal ornaments and decided to place them about the front. There really isn't a way to explain it properly, just look at the pictures. It's loud, especially for the daily rated spots upfront, those you can even see the trucks and traffic passing the freeway and on I35. We just turned the air conditioning up and tv on and rolled with it. If you can tolerate the sound and can keep an open mind, do it. When you go RVing, life's a trip. Make sure you clarify whether you have a 30 amp or a 50 amp. Otherwise, I think they automatically charge for a 50 amp. Cash and check only... told ya, 1970s.

Plenty of room for us all-there are 6 tables set up for each person to work on projects. TV if you just want to hang out-Well stocked kitchen (bring your own food) but everything else you need is there. Had a great time-the scrapbook store is across the street and we all made several visits there during our visit. Recommend this place for sure!
