I got a letter for a vehicle parking citation. I am no longer the owner of that vehicle. I called to explain and the CSR was very very very rude, called me dumb for not walking into the DMV with the new owner to make sure the vehicle gets transferred. CCS calls at all hours and does not leave a message. If you call its number back because it keeps waking you up, it wants your information and can not help you without you telling it your name and other information. It can not look up the information by a phone number and tell you who it is calling to collect from. Then one of its employees will say come in and CCS will look your name up. WTF? I don't owe you money. Why would I walk in there and show you my driver's license? I know I don't owe anyone anything and I have never in my life received a letter saying I owe anyone money. I have had my phone number for 20 years. Its systems are obviously primitive and need updating if it cannot link a phone number, whom it has called daily, to someone that may owe money. Even I could look up its number and address by a phone number on the computer, and I could figure out who was calling me and leaving no messages. In today's world, you don't call someone and leave no message. It's response, we don't leave messages; we are not allowed. In today's world, if someone calls you and hangs up repeatedly without leaving a message, when you call that number back, you DO NOT give out your information freely. This is just ripe for a scam especially if someone uses its number in the caller identification block. My suggestion, with all that money CCS is collecting, update your computer system so you can look up accounts by the phone numbers you are calling. Don't call people and leave no messages. All this agency is about is collecting money. CCS does not have any empathy for people who they are calling mistakenly. There is no way in hell I would give my name and information to a collection agency employee, someone who makes very little annually, and expect my information not to be compromised. There is no way in hell I would give my name and information to an agency that cannot link a number it called to an account. My opinion is it can link a number to an account, but withholds that data and hopes you give it your information. So I had 3 accounts on my credit report tried to close the accounts and ended up having 1500 in bills. Called them they couldn't do payments over the phone so I had to go in to the place. It has been a month since I paid and it's still on my credit report. Called them today at the 31st day asked why it's still there and they said they haven't reported to the credit Burroughs yet. My whole thing is these stupid bitches can take your money with a quickness but when it comes to taking shit off your reports they ain't doin shit.
