Looking for korean restaurant and found this restaurant in Redwwod city. We came for dinner. It was not busy when we arrived. First we thought we came to wrong restaurant as it doesn't look like a Korean restaurant to me. We didn't know this restaurant also serve American dishes. Looks like originally it only serve American dishes and later it also offer Korean dishes. Looks like the owner is korean and also own the next door japanese restaurant. It has indoorand outdoor seating. The Korean menu is simple. We ordered bim bim bap and spicy seafood noodle soup. I like the noodle soup more than. The bim bim bap as I don't taste the bim bimbap is that authentic. It is weird they add cucumber and pickle radish.

Run, don't walk! This place is good and it's a cute spot. I was looking to get an ube latte in my old neighborhood and happened upon Corner Table. Ended up adding a strawberry croffle to the order. The person ordering ahead of me dined in and then began ordering other items to go because it was that good! I definitely want to come back for a lunch or dinner experience. Service was excellent! I called ahead to confirm they have ube lattes (important to note that they are non-caffeinated) and upon arrival you can feel the care that is put into the service. People were coming in and the staff knew their names and were genuinely excited to see them return. Steady customers, but not overcrowded.

It was not busy during dinner, but it was a weekday. It was happy hour when we went and we ordered the soju but the girl at the cash register almost charged us full price when we were ordering. She had to get a manager to help her ring it in, but we ended just getting their soju cocktail. The soju cocktail is just fresh soju and syrup and in comparison to other places, it's not super great. It tastes as you expect. I got the rose tteokbokki and it was missing that spice. Rose tteokbokki is not super spicy already but this had no spice at all. The rice cakes were cooked well, but overall I wouldn't order it again.

We came when it was just opened. We got so early that we got the seats right away. We ordered 2 kinds of food. The avocado caprese was delish. The fried chicken sandwich was ok. We felt the chicken was refried since the flour was so thick and tasted not that fresh. The place was clean and decorated well.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the loco moco and citrus salad. Loved the freshness of the salad, which had slices of avocado, oranges and beets. The dressing was perfect - citrusy, light with the right amount of tang. Loco moco, however was just ok for me. I'd come back and try other dishes.

visited after a kids basketball game at a nearby gym. the place was clean, easy to order and offered a variety of options, but I wish the food was better. the French toast was mushy, everything else was fine.

How have I not stumbled across this and it's been here for two years?! The croffles were phenomenal, the loco moco deliciously flavorful, my friends loved their garden omelette and kimchi fried rice. Zero wait on a Saturday morning, pleasant staff, and excellent playlist vibes. We will be back and bringing more friends. Usually I'm a little off put by huge menus but they did all of them well. Large variety and they delivered on all of them.

Stopped in for the first time on a gloomy weekend morning. The large covered outdoor patio was a big draw -- perfect in case it rained, and comfortable enough for the dogs to relax too. Their specialty seems to be the honeycomb toffee latte, which was fun to try. A bit too sugary for my taste, but worth experiencing once. Food leans Korean-American, with quite a bit of Asian-inspired variety. I went with the avocado toast, and he had the loco moco. Both were good -- not exactly outstanding, but still enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I'd come back to try more of their Korean options, like kimchi rice. Perfect for: a cozy brunch spot when you want dog-friendly seating with a twist of Korean flavors.

Came here for brunch on Sunday with husband and the place was nice and busy but you could still get a table straight away. Lots of tables inside and out. We ordered the CT Hash - very good , and the Keto plate - not as good (small dish). We had a lot of food envy as we saw all the Nashville hot chicken burgers - will have to try it next time!! The menu is varied from traditional brunch dishes to salads to popular Korean dishes. They also serve bubble tea or boba, alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee. Love that we have this as a local restaurant!

it was a beautiful morning and was out early to do errands but needed to eat first and have my coffee before anything. Since I was in the area decided to dine at this spot in Redwood City near Woodside in the shopping plaza near by Michael's with plenty of parking in the lot. When we entered, the place looks clean and it seemed busy but we were greeted kindly by the host and was Offered a menu to order and our table was almost immediately available. We elected to order a couple of lattes and two different breakfast entrees that we were excited to try. We didn't wait long for our lattes and meals to be served and our server was friendly and accommodating. The lattes tasted great and the food were delicious! We enjoyed it and thought it was not bad at all. we were content. I won't hesitate to dine again and try other stuff on thier menu next time.

Corner Table is a casual cafe that seems to be owned and ran by a Korean family. I came on a weekend for brunch, and there was seating both indoors and outdoors. You order at the counter and then find your seat, where they'll bring food to you. I ordered a Biscoff Croffle, CT Hash, and a honeycomb latte. The Biscoff Croffle had the right amount of sweetness and cream, also featuring Lotus Biscoff crackers on top. The Honeycomb Latte was a bit strong, but balanced out by the pieces of honeycomb once I mixed it into the drink. The CT hash was also a nice brunch food, which was a mix of potato, onions, and sausage. This place is a hidden treasure so come try them out!

Went here on a random weekday am for brunch. Was very quiet, the food was excellent-the hostess didn't seem to know anything about the menu and some ability to guide customers here could be useful. Got coffee was ok, the croiffle chicken was amazing!! Would come back here for the food but everything else was just ok.

    Spicy pork, it was delicious

The galbi jjim is what people come here for and the hype is completely earned. It's this braised short rib situation that is so tender it practically dissolves and the sauce is rich and slightly sweet in a way that just coats everything perfectly. I grew up eating Filipino food so braised meat is not new to me but this thing hit on a different level. My mom would actually respect this dish and that means something. They give you a whole setup at the table and everything comes out looking like you ordered way more than you paid for. The banchan was fresh and they actually refilled without you having to ask which is always a green flag. Rice was fluffy. Simple things done right. The space gets loud and packed pretty fast especially on weekends so if you're trying to have a deep conversation maybe pick a different spot. But if you're going to eat well and have a good time with people you already like then the energy in there is actually kind of fun. Wait times can be real so either go early or put your name in and walk around downtown San Mateo for a bit. There's enough around there to kill some time. Daeho is the kind of restaurant that makes you proud of Korean food culture and honestly makes me want to study the language even harder just to feel more connected to what I'm eating. Worth every minute of the wait.

I picked this restaurant because of its location, its spacious parking lot, and that they're not too crowded on weekends. We got a corner table inside a big room. Not only were they not completely full, the spacing between tables were pretty good as well. Staff were super friendly. It's a perfect place for us to catch up with each other without feeling rushed nor guilty. All four of us ordered the organic tofu soup. I had the mushroom one (medium spicy). It came piping hot with a raw egg. It was the perfect spicy level for me. (One of us ordered hot, and said that it was quite a bit more spicy than she expected.) I loved the assorted mushrooms inside my tofu soup. My friends all enjoyed their selections as well, and we loved the texture of the purple rice. The amount of ingredients inside the tofu soup was pretty generous. We also got refills for our banchans. There're 5 different kinds of banchans. They're on the sweeter side and not as flavorful as I would like, though. Overall, it's a delicious and satisfying lunch, and we all had a good time.

I went around 8pm on a weekday and place was packedddd, but the service was impressive. All of our dishes came out all at one, within 5-10 minutes after ordering. What I had: Yuk hwe (beef tartare with pears and egg yolk): If you're hesitant about raw beef, please don't be. It's honestly just like eating sashimi. Wagyu meat was incredibly tender, sweet, and melted in my mouth. It was mixed with some kind of seasoning sauce and egg yolk, so savory and addictive I couldn't stop. Highly recommend you should try it if you can eat raw food Bossam: Great but I found it a bit too fatty (meat-to-fat ratio was like 50:50 ). My favorite way to eat was wrapping it in lettuce with garlic (extraaa), jalapeno, kimchi, and ssamjang. It also went well with rice. Big bite was super satisfying Galbi tang: Something we ordered to balance things out (2 previous dishes was just heavy), and it was a perfect decision. The soup was light, clean, and deeply comforting. Beef short ribs were super tender. I like to eat with a big spoon, ribs, rice, kimchi then dipped in the warm soup, perfect!!! I also appreciate that they serve complimentary warm tea, which was perfect for a cold day like today. Portions are generous, we had plenty of leftovers. Would definitely come back.

Literally, the skirt of beef in my bibimbap was less than one spoonful. It was made up by increase amount of veggies either. I know inflation is causing everything to be more expensive, but this feels a bit ridiculous. We'll probably not return, at least not for those items. The concept of having Korean food cooked in a robotic food truck is interesting to me. Since the food was catered, unfortunately I was unable to see the robots cooking in action, but fortunately was able to taste the final products. I was able to try the Wagyu galbi (short ribs), dak galbi (marinated chicken), Seoul food bowl (stir-fried pork belly and shrimp), and japchae, served with their corn salad, kimchi, and white rice. The Wagyu galbi was very flavorful with a good amount of vegetables; though I enjoyed the inclusion of lotus root, the veggies seemed like borderline filler to skimp out on meat. The dak galbi was also flavorful though spicy, and again the inclusion of rice cakes seemed like filler. The pork belly and shrimp were delicious, and I liked that the pieces of pork belly I had didn't have an overpowering amount of fat. The japchae was pretty standard and was nice to balance out the meat. I enjoyed the corn salad because it added a creamy component to my meal. The kimchi got lost in the mixture of food in my bowl and the rice was cooked perfectly by the robot. Overall, I enjoyed the food prepared by OLHSO Truck. Unfortunately, since the food was catered and already prepared when I arrived, I cannot comment on the service or wait times provided by the staff. I would consider ordering food from the truck if I am craving Korean fusion type of food and am too lazy to dine in at a local Korean restaurant. If the food from the truck is a good representation of the restaurant in downtown San Mateo, I am more inclined to try the restaurant for a nice sit down dining experience.
