So far I have tried almost all of the classes (have not tried hot). and I have really enjoyed getting to know all of the teachers and their unique styles. I have been wanting to write a review for some time. This morning I took the Y6 Power class with Sam P and really loved the flow and the sequencing. All of the teachers do a great job with verbal cuing and are doing so awesome at teaching in person and via zoom at the same time. It is truly IMPRESSIVE! There are many class times available and it seems every time I hit the mat at YogaSix it turns out to be just what I needed. During these challenging times, you owe it to yourself to take the time for self care and YogaSix is just the place to do it! I highly recommend this studio for all levels and find it to be so very inclusive of ALL! I really want to thank Katy and all of the instructors for helping keep me motivated and inspired and allowing me the space to take care of ME over these last several months! Namaste

There are so many different classes some from beginners to advanced, outdoor and on paddle boards, special events and yoga teacher trainings, which deepen your knowledge of yoga. My husband and I took the big step of becoming 200-hour yoga teachers at this studio and I can't say enough positive things about that experience. The quality of the teachers is amazing. They are always giving pointers to correct your form so you have a safer yoga practice and giving you the freedom to do what feels best for your b. My favorite classes are the yin, meditation and mixed level. Conveniently located in the strip mall on Hwy 96, this studio has a small grassy area for outdoor yoga and two studios inside. You never have to worry about getting a parking spot - there's plenty. You have the option of an unlimited monthly membership or you can buy a block of class passes. Another cool feature of this studio is that you can reserve a seat in class using the Mind Body app. Check out their website for classes, special events, and a little bit about each instructor. My latest favorite thing is their online studio where I can access many pre-recorded classes for when I am out of town. As a result of COVID-19, the studio also offers live classes via Zoom, that I take advantage of whenever I can.

The workout was a HIIT version alternating between light/medium weights and cardio. 45 sec on, 15 sec recovery. I felt the right amount of sore afterwards to know I worked hard. I was able to do most activities or at least adjust to one's I could do. The instructor was energetic and motivating. Music was pumping up the class. We even had a well behaved puppy participant. The room was bright and well heated. Really great experience.

They contacted me before I arrived to let me know what to expect. When I arrived I got a little tour. They have a nice Little Fitness area (treadmills and weights, etc), infrared and steam saunas and cold plunges, locker rooms and a group fitness room. I enjoyed my yoga sculpt class, wish it was longer than 30 minutes. I'd definitely come back. They seem to be a close knit community. Walking into the building, I had trouble finding where to go as the receptionist didn't look up from her personal laptop to even acknowledge us. It being my friends' and my first time, it would've been nice if she showed us where the classes were, as well as the locker rooms- neither of which she did. Additionally, when asked about prices of memberships, she didn't know and had to look them up on her computer, which, even then, didn't provide us with the details of pricing. While I enjoyed the class, it was said to be pilates, but there were no reformers, so it was simply a weightlifting class, which wasn't what was advertised. The room was also very hot, and there was only one fan that couldn't rotate, so only half the class got to feel the fan. Overall, I liked the class, but the atmosphere and employees brought down my experience.

I've been to four so far and really recommend this studio. He promotes safety by requiring everyone take a Foundations class where he teaches you the basic moves and things such as squat mechanics. It's way better than throwing you into a class with risky form. As a fellow movement professional, safety and form is high priority for me. He also puts together well balanced exercises. Many group fitness classes I've attended don't incorporate all muscle groups (just working the "beach body muscles" you can see in the mirror), and he goes through a wide range of muscle groups in each class. Christian is a very good spirited and fun person. He will kick your butt with good instruction. 30 minutes is perfect for this high intensity interval training type class. It's the perfect length, too. I can just pop over and not feel like I've had to sacrifice my entire evening exercising/bored on a treadmill. I bought a Groupon to save money and will buy some full priced classes afterwards. I'm thrift oriented, so that says something about the quality!
