Love Core Power - variety of classes - convenient locations - and wonderful instructors !

You cannot have a bad class here at La Brea and Hollywood Blvd - the teachers are so well cast and everyone needs to know this - I feel these classes should not necessary be heated during the summer - but then again who am I? I'm a C1 student and I care about restorative maintenance and slow class that are not hot. We live in a desert. Made into a city. But I get it! The teachers are wonderful, open and possess sharp communication skills of Symphony, Gretel, Asmita and Wren are from the heart as they know how to read the room and deliver kindness. While someone like Josiah or Siena really keep me reminded of the technicality of this life practice - they help me to remember everything from balance to the length of each breath. It's cool because I actually always learn something new about my yoga practice. Fun teachers like Abby, Stephanie, Julia and Erica is nice because im a 'theatre kid' too - so why not hire and cultivate more fun theatre kids! This summer they actually held classes on the rooftop of MamaShelter right by me so not only was this rad but also something I feel they should do more of - thank you Belinda and all the powers that went into making this so very special ( and walkable ) there is nothing like an oceanic breeze to remind you to also breeze while in downward dog. In the end, Yoga to me is prayer and a good way to connect to my anscestors while doing so - I dig slow classes in a wild world. It is also a chance to sweat off a gluttonous happy hour that generally pivots between foods that need ranch dressing and cold glassware that needs Champagne. It's all about balance. Thank you to CorePower for curating a staff that is kind, consistent but doesn't take the yoga persona / LA thing too seriously. We need that! The teaching staff cares for each of us 'class takers' with a professionality and mental health awareness. We live in great times for a collective awareness and CorePower Hollywood entirely reflects this! read more

The place was clean. The instructor was amazing. It was hot yoga with weights and some resistance it was an absolute great class parking is available with validation read more

Super friendly professional staff and a really clean studio. Great amenities with lockers and showers.

I will never go back to this place. I was robbed inside the actual studio. Complained to the company and they said they weren't responsible to file a police report. There was only one other customer in the studio so it must've her or one of the employees. They even bother asking me what happened. What a joke. Will never go back here again. read more

CorePower yoga must be in debt & struggling bc my social media ads are constantly pushing to try a week pass. After finally taking up the week trial, I tried a class in Hollywood despite the horrible reviews. I was greeted by Esme who had a negative & patronizing tone of voice (its 7am, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt it's just early) So I explained Esmer that the last time I had an account, I didn't get to attend my first class because no one would answer the phone to help with parking. If you call this location, it just sends you to their Denver voicemail. I had a loooong talk on the phone with their customer service to see if I could redeem on another number & the person on the phone approved since I never got to see the studio. I never used the free week trial but my name is in the system. Upon leaving the studio, I get an email saying my account has been deactivated despite her saying to my face that she will honor the free week. Luckily I could tell by her energy, this studio is not a place I'd like to return to. It's such a bummer the yoga scene here in LA has people like her, but maybe it's just Hollywood and there is hope at other studios On the bright side The teacher we had was a substitute and it was his first class teaching-- he was a sweetheart and didn't have an "I'm better than you" attitude. Core power yoga, please hire better managers that actually do their due diligence to understand the situation before pulling the trigger & cancelling a trial week. I should've known it was gonna be a sh*t show working to get an account with the customer service. Namaste No parking No locks for lockers must bring your own read more

Such a great work out, wonderful Instructors been to about 5 locations and they're all wonderful

Why has every YS class in the LA area turned into full on HIIT classes? I come to corepower and YS to do Yoga with weights not a HIIT class. Very dissappointing. Might be on my way out. read more

The team here is awesome starting at the top with Esme who is always super helpful and friendly. There are so many great teachers here that provide a lot of variety and bring their personal style to their classes. Parking is pretty easy and the facilities are nice. read more

I adore this studio. The instructors are amazing! I especially love Esme and Lillian's sculpt classes. They really push you and I always feel so strong after class. The rooms feel hotter than the other CorePowers in LA and the locker room/ amenities are much bigger too. I have 3 corepowers closer to where I live but I make the trek here regularly. I have an unlimited pass and I am so happy to be doing yoga regularly again. read more

My favorite Core power yoga studio in town! Being a black tag member for a few years now, I have had the pleasure of visiting all the studios around the LA area in addition to some in other states as well. Not only is this the largest studio out of all of them, it is by far the cleanest and most sanitary. The women's locker room is always pleasant and fully stocked with supplies. Unfortunately not all the studios are able to keep up with cleanliness, but I am always satisfied with the level of service and overall appearance of the Hollywood studio. The only area of improvement would be the sign outside, as some of the lights are out. Thank you CPY Hollywood team! read more

CorePower Yoga - Hollywood - I wish the outside of the studio reflected the inside! It is very nice inside, don't judge by the half lit sign -11.21.18 - Yoga Near Me - Los Angeles, California

The instructors at this studio have gone from amazing to horrible. After being loyal to CorePower for years it's time to check out other hot yoga studios. The instructors at this studio allow talking in class, texting, even video recording! Yep, inappropriate, disrespectful, and illegal recording in class by students aka their friends. Most recently, I asked an instructor to turn down the music because I couldn't hear her cues. She did, briefly, before turning the music up so loud that students were just sitting on their mats lost as no one could hear her. This studio is great if you want to pay for a frustrating experience. I am so sad. And I'm checking out Yoga6 tomorrow. read more

This is the second CorePower Yoga studio I've been to and it's sooo nice. This one has a lot more space than the previous one I visited. The locker room is nice and has a few showers available. The actual classrooms were surprisingly spacious as well. I took a Yoga Sculpt class with Annie, which was fantastic. It was my first time meeting her and she remembered my name and kept giving myself and other people in the class encouragement. Amazing workout! Parking: Parking garage that's $1.50 with validation for the first 90 minutes. Not enough time for me to change into and out of my workout clothes and shower after class so I had to pay $4.00 in total for parking. read more

I have been to several CPY locations and this is one of the largest ones. Excellent studio. Love all the classes! Variety of yoga classes with different levels and if you want something different their yoga sculpt classes are amazingly hard and fun. All rooms are heated. The studio is big and clean. Bathrooms have showers, lockers so bring a lock with you, hair dryers, lotions, etc. They don't have free towel service :( so bring your own or pay the fee to rent one. Parking is validated but even with validation is $1.50 for 90 minutes :( All the teachers are great and very friendly. I always walk out of here with a smile on my face. read more

Scam !!! I bought a 2 week trial and before the 2 weeks were even up they charged me $170 for an all access pass. Just be cautious as they will do this without any warning. Having to file a claim with my bank now. I only attended my first class last Saturday and yesterday I was charged $170 out of the blue with no email warning or anything. Horrible customer service. I had a death in my family recently which is why I've had to cancel to many classes and was only able to attend one class within the 2 weeks trial. I had no idea I would be charged for a full access pass and with everything going on of course I would not remember the fine print, But even if i did I did not see that I would be charged $170 after 2 weeks ANYWHERE when I purchased the trial. I didn't even get an email receipt or anything letting me know the terms. This is such a a scam. ESPECIALLY when there is no way to view that you will be charged $170 like no way of seeing your contract saying the date you will be charged , nothing, they will just do it out of nowhere. I called the support number. They were rude and did not help and were not understand whatsoever. The representative was unprofessional and disrespectful. What a horrible company. read more

I was supposed to meet my best friend here for a hot-power fusion class and about 5 minutes before class, as I was about to walk in, my best friend calls me that she's leaving due to a COCKROACH running across her mat in the studio. This is beyond disgusting!!!!!! I am NOT okay paying a premium price for yoga just to have cockroaches in the studios!!!!!! This location also requires you to pay for parking with every class and only give a 90 minute limit at the discounted rate. That gives no time to come in before class to meditate and be able to shower and clean off after class before the rate spikes go an additional 3 bucks. As a black tag member I'm already paying a premium price to take class multiple times a week, so this additional cost with such a short time limit is a major disappointment. Lastly they do not have the best evening class times. They offer 2 classes at 530 then 1 at 6 and nothing again till 7. I work and can't ever make the 530 classes and sometimes want something different that the class at 6. I sucks having to wait around an extra hour for a 7 pm class. It would be nice if they offered a class at 630 or even staggered classes at certain times. Switch the 6 pm to a different class a couple days a week! This used to be my primary location but after this situation and the addition to having to pay to park every class (it adds up fast) I'm no longer going. I could not have more good things to say about this studio! Since starting at CorePower about a year and a half ago, I've become a diehard enthusiast and go to 4-7 classes a week. My favorite class is C2 (heated, fast flows, dedicated core section, generally includes a fair amount of twists and inversion "play time") although I am also attend 1-2 Sculpt (heated ) classes per week to get some abs :). Their other offerings are C1 (lightly heated, same "introductory" flow every time, a good down-to-basics class) and How Power Fusion/HPF (VERY heated, same HPF flow every time, intense and lots of standing postures -- not my fav). They also recently added a C3 class (amped up version of C2) that I can't get enough of. CorePower also comes with an awesome community where I've met and made friends! The teachers here all make a point of being at the studio 30 minutes before and after class and encourage conversation, critiques, and requests. I've had very few bad experiences with any teacher. I walk to class, but parking is available in the structure behind the building with partial validation -- $1.50 for 90 minutes -- or there's generally free street parking in the surrounding neighborhood **read the signs! This is not 100% crunchy, meditative yoga. There is definitely a corporate component, but, like all things yoga, embrace what's in front of you! I love the regular class structures, that I know exactly what kind of workout I'm going to get from each kind of class, the instructors' hands-on approach and very in-depth knowledge of the human body and how it can move. For quieter, more meditative/introspective practices, I go somewhere else. I'm a firm believer that your yoga practice is your yoga practice -- make it exactly what you want. If that means sweating (A LOT) and dancing it out in chair pose to top 40s and then quieting down to a gong-accompanied stretch & cool down, COME TO COREPOWER! read more

This is my favorite CorePower in the LA area - really large, clean space [only location that I know that ENSURES someone is cleaning between classes] & a large breadth of classes. But what really edges this location is CoreRestore with Laura R on Tuesday evenings. CoreRestore (Reboot and rebuild with a series of holding postures that focus on stretching and breathing. This class alleviates soreness, heals the connective tissues in your body and gives your mind a well-deserved moment of reflection) - it's over an hour of just deep stretching. Given my boyfriend & my rigorous Crossfit schedule, this is MUCH needed and it makes such a big difference. I don't NEARLY stretch as much as I need to and CoreRestore helps immensely. Laura R, you're a lifesaver. read more

After visiting several other yoga studios and coming here several times, I have to up my review of this place. It's my favorite of the ones I've been to. Didn't actually take class at this studio, but it was so nice! Came for an Anatomy Lecture for teacher training. The parking structure was relatively easy to find. I did go to the wrong one first lol around the corner and asked the guy but he pointed me in the right direction. It's not directly attached but there's like a walkway to it. They have THREE studios! And a bigger selection of clothes than I've seen at other studios. At first I was confused because there's a lot of hallways lol but after two days I got the hang of it. Aaand the restroom is HUGE! Looots of bathroom stalls and showers and a separate area for like lotion and probably for girls to do their hair haha. I took La Brea so I avoided Hollywood Blvd but there's a street entrance there as well. I didn't have time to walk but otherwise I would have. Next time I'll also take a class! Can't wait to come back :) read more

More of a 3.5 but can't give a half star so is what it is. I have liked every instructor I have taken at Corepower Hollywood and feel they are all attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable but the things I'm not so crazy about are the following: 1. Duration of classes at about an hour at most just seems a little short at times as I am someone who likes at least 70-75minutes in yoga. 2. Lately the studios have not been so clean as when I've started- very strong musty smell at times particularly after the heated classes like Hot Fusion- not very relaxing or pleasant to walk into and find zen. Dirty mirrors and sticky floor.. Eeekk 3. Parking- this is a big one here for me. I usually arrive a minimum of 15 minutes early to try and find street parking as even with validation between arriving on time for class with time to set up and packing up after class the parking always seems to come out to about $3+ so finding street parking is worth it 4. Corporate policy- at a lot of studios in LA you can have at least a 5 minute grace period given the traffic etc out here, but here I have known that people get turned away for being a minute or two late which can really be a bummer. Overall I LOVE their instructors and think the classes themselves are great but there are some things to consider read more

Wow. Where to start? I've been a CPY addict since 2011 and it was the first place I've ever practice yoga! Incredible instructors, clean studios and locker rooms and overall stellar community. Music is extremely important to me in practicing yoga and CPY completely embraces this with great soundtracks for the classes. CPY: The company has studios all around the country (and expanding fast!) with a ton in Southern California. You can purchase in drop in classes, class packages and unlimited - Black Tag membership. If you're going a few times per week, Black Tag is the way to go. With this, you can also visit ANY CPY without additional charges. I really take advantage of this as I'm often in Orange County, West LA and San Diego. New students get a free week unlimited - also how I got hooked! CPY Hollywood: Amazing location!! I may or may not have chosen my apartment in part because it is walking distance from the studio. :) The studio is on the second floor of the tall building on the corner of Hollywood & La Brea (above Tiago). For parking, you enter in the alley off La Brea and park in the garage to the right. CPY validates, so it's only $1.50 for 90 minutes. There are a variety of classes. I usually do C2 (hot vinyasa) but also like to sprinkle in Sculpt (yoga with weights!) and HPF. It's all good! Remember this is HOT YOGA. Bring a towel, water and a mat (you can always purchase/rent if you forget). Namaste. read more

I booked a 5:30 appt and was at the door at 5:33 because I couldn't find parking and they denied me entryto my class. Will NEVER be coming back here. read more

Parking is in an alley below Hollywood on La Brea. It is not intuitive. You have to map it on your phone + be looking for the alley. Turn into the alley from the street, and, halfway down, you'll see a bridge that connects two buildings and probably a sign that says $10 public parking. Turn into that lot, park, and walk across the bridge. The studio will validate 90 minutes for $1.50 so make sure you book it to your car after class. All this sounds terrible and confusing, i know, because it is. This yoga place has the most confusing parking situation of any yoga studio I've been to in Los Angeles, including the YogaWorks on Hollywood and Vine (ugh). The first time I tried to go, I parked on the street and showed up two minutes late. The lady at the front desk wouldn't let me in. She was very nice when I was kind of rude about it though, so I decided to try again the next day. The second time I tried, I wound up parking in the wrong lot (this is extremely easy to do). I was directed by a security guard to a different yoga studio called Set and Flow that happens to be right across the street from Core Power in The Avenue building. By the time I realized my mistake, it was too late to do anything. I went to hot yoga at Set and Flow instead because a class was just about to start. I really, really liked this studio and will probably go back. The floors, the lights, and the music are awesome. On my third try, I left 45 minutes early for class (I live 15 minutes away) and finally figured out where the Core Power lot was. The class itself (CP2) was really nice and relaxing and not too difficult but not too easy either. The teacher was great and I felt like I got a good workout. Overall, it was worth it, and I'm going to come back here. But I don't know why national chains keep putting studios in places in this city where no one can park. This isn't New York. We drive cars. There is plenty of space further east (Los Feliz, Silverlake, Echo Park, etc.) for yoga studios, and nobody who doesn't live in Hollywood likes going over there anyway. read more

Nope nope nope nope. Wouldn't recommend. The studio I had class in was SO dirty. It was uncomfortable. All of the mirrors were filthy and there were weird stains on the ceiling lights and tubes. The fake wood floor had bubbles and was lifting and it was just overall really eerie. Every time I was laying in my back for a pose I couldn't focus because I was starting at the stains on the lights wondering what kind of filth it was and how long it has been there. Mind you I am the furthest thing from a germaphobe. But the place was just uncomfortably dirty. And be mindful if you have a dog allergy because they have a dog that walks around the studio. It's a nice dog though. read more

Love CorePower and have been coming here for years, but the parking situation at this studio has gotten completely ridiculous. I come from work for the 7:30 class, so I don't have time to look for street parking, but every single time I have been here in the last couple of months there has been an issue with the payment system in the garage. Either there are printed signs saying it's "cash only" that day, it just flat out wont accept my debit card when I can use it, or even if I do pay at the station, the scanner will eat my validation ticket. Every. Single. Time. Last night the guard made me sign an IOU (for $1.50, btw...) and wanted me to put all of this personal information on a slip of paper.... like, not gonna happen. I love CorePower, but they gotta figure something out here. read more

I've been to Corepower probably 4-5 times and I liked the classes. The teachers were attentive, studios clean. However after my experience tonight I will not be returning to any location. Classes at the Hollywood location don't necessarily start on time from my experience. When they do, I've seen people creep in the back a few minutes in, and it didn't disturb me or anything. Once I was running a few minutes late in Sherman Oaks and they squeezed me in the back without making it an issue. I mean, this is LA. And Hollywood Blvd is basically the global nexus of traffic. Tonight I arrived upstairs maybe 2-3 minutes late, yoga mat in hand, and this grouchy-looking woman scuttles around the corner and barks at me that I'm not allowed in class since I'm late. I gently remind her of the time and assure her that I can run in the back of the class without disturbing anyone. She then accuses me of being "disrespectful" to the other students. Speechless for a moment from her rudeness, I tell her I was once 2-3 minutes late at another location and it wasn't in any way a problem. "I find that shocking!" she continued aggressively. "It's a Strict Corporate Policy!" Evidently not? She stood glowering at me until I left. Oy. The last three words I want to hear when I'm going to yoga after fighting traffic are: 1. strict 2. corporate 3. policy. I think those three words are actually constitute the opposite of yoga. I go to yoga to get away from these words. I go to yoga to get away from a world of dead-eyed corporate robots nodding in unison. I mean, goodness, if her job is really on the line about something I have yet to see enforced, fine, no one needs to get fired, but are Kindness and Good Customer Service "Strict Corporate Policies?" This experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I won't be returning. There are plenty of cool hippie studios in LA where people practice what they preach. I mean, what's the point of going on about meditation and inner peace and all that if it doesn't exist outside the room where you profit from it? If you can't practice kindness and generosity towards others when it might not be the easiest for you, why go through the poses and mantras and pretend? So Corepower is Corporate alright. In a bad way. The idea that beneath these smiling faces lurk the impatience and rudeness one might find at the bank or the DMV is quite unsettling. This is the Era of ClassPass, and there are many, many other studios. Namaste. read more

I love CPY, but this location has limited parking, they have a parking structure but even with validation, you have to pay $1.50, but if you get there a little earlier (just so you don't miss class due to traffic) you'll definitely end up paying a lot more than $1.5, I usually end up paying $9, I don't know how the math works because I'm not there longer than 2.5 hours. But luckily there is street parking but it is a bit of walk compared to other LA locations. As always the staff are great at CPY and they have larger studio, with three rooms and a large locker area. read more

Corepower is my favorite workout in LA. It is the only exercise class that I can always talk myself into getting out of bed for. I wasn't a big hot yoga person before I went, but now I am obsessed. The locker rooms and showers are always clean. They have lots of amenities if you need a tampon, lotion, hair dryer, etc. You can also get a lock from the front desk. I like to get to class at least 10 mins early to sit in the room and get used to the heat. Parking at this location is relatively easy. They validate for the garage right behind the studio, it is $1.50 for 90 minutes. That is pushing it a little if you want to shower there and get to class early, but I usually can make it work. The prices go way up if you go over, so be careful. There is normally street parking nearby if you don't mind a bit of a walk. I've only had a teacher not show up once, it was the first class on a Saturday morning. They comped the class for us and gave us a free pass to come back at a later date. If you are not doing a monthly it is good to check the schedule often to see if they have any free classes coming up. Now, on to the deals. Corepower is expensive. It stacks up pretty well with other yoga studios price-wise, but it is still a lot. Your first week is free and they don't ask for a credit card or anything, so you can try it out without making a commitment. They run a groupon deal a few times a year for your first month unlimited, you can still cash in the free week and then start the groupon deal for the next month. The first unlimited month you buy is discounted and the first month on black-tag (their auto-renewal plan) is discounted. You can also get a discounted rate if you are a full-time student, teacher or military. Lastly, one of the best parts is you can use your classes/monthly package at any of their locations. I have two studios near my house and one by work, I love being able to switch it up and it makes it really easy to fit exercise into my schedule. read more

I am in love with this studio. I checked it out on a whim at first; I received some promotional material in the mail, and I live in the area, so I thought "Why not?" Corepower offers a free introductory week, so I signed up. One week later I was a black tag member, I cancelled my membership to LA Fitness, and I've never looked back. It has been a life changing experience. They've really cultivated a family at the Hollywood location, and I feel so welcomed every time I walk in the door. The instructors really take the time to get to know you on a personal level, and are excited to help you grow your practice. The energy in that place is amazing and I walk out feeling inspired every single time. The studio is consistently spotless, the classes aren't too crowded, and the instructors are top notch (Politeia, Marja, JQ, Lani, and Ryan R. are my favorites). Yes, parking can be a little bit of a problem sometimes, but it's Hollywood. That's not anything new. The studio is constantly working to improve itself, and the managers welcome feedback. I wish I could give more than five stars. Check it out, you'll be glad you did. read more

I really liked this place. I tried the first week, and they validate parking behind the building or some street parking nearby. You can't sign up beforehand but the classes never seemed to crowded. I loved the sculpt class, I feel like those kind of classes transform my body the most. I also like the core power 2 classes, I wasn't a fan of the slower yoga classes, I feel like the teacher was just staring at me the whole time and constantly adjusting me. The teachers and people at the front desk are super polite though. The bathrooms were very clean and nice too. The sculpt class was the most crowded and some of the other classes there would only be 2 or 3 people in them. read more

I came here one time because I found out that my favorite CPY instructor was teaching here. Hollywood studio is one of CPY newer studios. It is clean and less crowded than their other studios like Wilshire and Sherman Oak. However, what bothers me about this studio is the parking situation. Like people have mentioned, it costs 1.50 with validation, which is ridiculous, especially if you have battled through LA traffic to come here and now have to deal with a parking fee to enjoy some good yoga. Also, I found that my favorite CPY Instructor stopped teaching here because of the time changes. So, unfortunately, I will not be back here anytime soon. read more

Gave this place a second chance and I'm glad I did! Laura Rebecca is a fun and thorough instructor. I took her beginners class today and if I could take her on a regular I would get closer to being able to take a solid flow class. Her detailed instructions and modification options really helped. I improved Chaturanga greatly throughout the class and felt more confident in it. The class is so eliciting and fun. She goes through each pose in great detail. She made it seem easier than some other beginner classes I've taken even though we were actually beginning flow and it was harder, but her instruction made it seem easy. The studio is nice and clean. Front desk is helpful. Parking is behind with validation its $1.50. read more

It has been such a delight being a member at Core Power Yoga. The classes have transformed my life. They have given me a deeper sense of presence on and off the mat. They have connected me more deeply to my breath, which is huge for me as someone whose lung collapsed a few years ago and has had to work to regain a connection to my breath. I leave every Core class in person or on zoom feeling alive, full of gratitude, grounded, and energized. I have found a greater sense of connection to nature, the world around me, and every person I encounter on this life journey. Josie (Josiah) - My first studio class ever was with Josie and I had no idea what I was in for. I showed up to my Core Yoga 2 class at 6:30am at this location with my yoga mat and water bottle excited to connect more with my mind, body, and soul. I didn't realize it would be a hot yoga class so I was in for a treat. Josie was the instructor for my 6:30am class and let me just start by saying they are a WONDERFUL teacher. I enjoyed their music choices. I loved their gentle and energetic approach to yoga. They had such a pleasant positive energy so early in the morning (6:30am is early for me!!!). They were encouraging and offered a variety of options for the poses depending on where you were in your practice. They provided detailed instructions of what each pose looked like which was so wonderful since I had done yoga in the past but was pretty much at a beginner level. They paid careful attention to each student and offered adjustments when needed and being a new comer I needed some guidance with some of the poses. The hour flew by thanks to Josie's carefully thought out flow and I worked up such a sweat. I was drenched and felt like I had given my body such a wonderful gift of love, attention and care. Josie led us in a wonderful meditation during our final Shavasana that made me feel so connected to the present moment and so eager to begin my day. I left Josie's class feeling lighter, energized and more connected to my breath. I love Josie's mantra to have courage and be kind. I can feel that they have such a loving heart and soul. Josie is such a blessing to Core and this Earth. After their first class I was addicted and every time I make my way into the studio, I only take their classes. They have transformed my life and my practice and I feel like an intermediate level yogi as a result. I am more of a night time yoga class person but I will wake up for their 6:30am class any day. Anna Jo - She was my first introduction to online Core classes and she has blown my mind class after class. She has such a beautiful soul. I have taken her Core Yoga 1, Core Yoga 2, Hot Power Fusion, and Core Restore Classes. She has such an incredible wisdom and outlook on life. I always feel restored, present, grounded, and inspired after all of her classes. She offers up words of wisdom towards the end of each class during the warm down and in the final meditation during Shavasana. I have found myself crying (happy tears) and laughing during her classes from the poses, her careful attention to the practice and each student, and the words of wisdom. I can tell yoga is her passion and gift. Her classes have transformed my life and have aided me in my healing journey. The gentleness and generosity she brings to the practice are so healing. Anna Jo is such a blessing to Core Power live classes and the world. Quincy Sc - I love to double up on classes a couple times a week and Thursdays is one of my favorite days to do that. On Thursdays I totally enjoy taking Quincy's 30 minute intense Yoga Sculpt class followed by her hour long Hot Power Fusion Class. I work up a wonderful sweat in her Yoga Sculpt class. Quincy's teaching style is so empowering. She offers so many words of encouragement during class. She acknowledges all of her students that are on camera and off camera which I really appreciate. Her fun and generous energy during class is so refreshing. I love her enthusiasm and positivity. It makes the 30 minutes go by so quickly. Her energy in the Hot Power Fusion class is restorative and meditative. It is a slower pace class and I love how she shares her journey with us off the mat and offers up a helpful intention for the class. The two classes back to back really compliment one another and I am very grateful for Quincy and her teaching styles. She is such a delight. Well, this turned into a novel a bit so I will wrap it up. The final thing I would like to say is how I love that Core Yoga reminds you that this is your practice and it will look and feel different in everyones body. I love how each instructor encourages you to do what feels good for your body, honoring whatever moment you are in on your journey with the practice. That reminder of the uniqueness of your journey is so special. No two peoples practice or journey on the mat will look the same and there is so much beauty in that. read more
