For starters, we had a sub and we did not feel welcomed at all. In fact, we walked in and it was very awkward. My friend was new to reformer Pilates and got like a 1 minute rundown. Throughout the class, I would look around and NO one knew what they were doing. The instructor didn't even count out loud. I did not break a single sweat. Not sure if I'm used to more intense instructors or if it was because I was confused 90% of the time. I would try again with a different instructor, if it was free but I don't see myself buying a membership or paying a drop -in fee.

I typically go to classes later in the day, and all of the ladies are so darn fabulous, I have literally laughed, cried, danced, and begged to just sit there and watch everyone else do the class. One of my favorite classes to drag my ass out of bed is the 6 AM class with Samantha. The ladies in the class always seem shocked to see me there because I am not a morning person by any means. The other day, I literally went to class probably just because I needed to wash my hair before I went to work. Knowing that those 6 AM ladies are going to hug, high five me and giggle throughout class starts my day off most fabulous every time I go. I have thought about moving out of downtown Colorado Springs... But I will tell you not being able to walk to this fabulous tribe filled studio is a factor in my decision to stay right where I am. Every class is so welcoming and everyone is so nice and it is truly a joy to be with these amazing ladies.

I have met some of the instructors when I crashed one of their regular study groups at the Institute for Anatomical Research, and I think they are a wonderful group of people, who are committed to their profession and always striving to become better. Linda gave a lovely class including options of choosing your own poses as part of the class and if you don't know what to chose...she provided ideas. She also offered to have me pick a spot near the door since it is a warm class. Her suggestion was helpful as I don't typically like hot yoga due to my age I just dropped in as I am visiting for the weekend. Class was 15$ but includes a free week of classes. I won't use it but it didn't cost anymore which is a nice touch for new students if you are local. I'm a former teacher and this was a perfect class for me this afternoon- challenging and forgiving. Coming here, I have gotten to benefit from a variety of workouts + the great benefits from the infrared heat! I built up to level 1.5 and eventually did 2-3 classes per day during summers/holidays. It's always clean and organized. I saw some people complaining on Yelp about trying to cancel/life emergencies, etc. I have seen other people go to the desk and ask about suspending their accounts, cancelling, etc. The ones I have seen seemed satisfied with the information on how the policies work seemed fine. I can imagine a life changing emergency would be a tough one though. When my MIL passed away, I let them know what happened and that I would be gone for a couple of weeks. They cancelled my classes for me but I kept my membership going. I stand by my 5-star rating.
