It has never taken less than four weeks for this practice to return an approval fax to the physical therapist that my son had been referred to. My physical therapist sends a new request every week. Only, to my dismay, it usually takes at least 4 to 6 weeks and me making one or more trips in, in person to get my son's physical therapy renewal signed, and faxed back. This includes if I go in, in person and drop the paperwork off into their handy little hands.... And IF I DO drop the paperwork off, in person, even though it's been in their possession for WEEKS, I'm told there's 72 hour turnaround time. This means that YOU won't get service worth a , because they can't provide some of the most basic services for an 8.5 year old little boy who has autism & is in PT to stabilize his gait before he starts third grade, & moves from playing with children who are generally younger than he is, to possibly playing with children his age and size or larger. And since he became school aged during the pandemic and then I struggled with several other pediatricians dismissing my concerns about the behaviors that were aligned with symptoms of autism I was familiar with, I HOPED that Summit wouldn't become the same kind of nightmare scenario that Peak Vista is, and Charles Burke, wether he's with Optum, UC Health or wherever TF he is now; (hopefully no longer gaslighting mothers about their concerns about getting the appropriate supportive services in order to prepare my ONE KID for school with the children of the excessive amount of people who have moved to COS, without the first f**k to give about wether they run us over with their compensatory trucks that are clearly making up for what they lack in brains, class, and inadequate "tools".) Anyway I just wanted to try to get my son some physical therapy to make sure that he had a stable support in order to play probably more roughly with slightly elder children he has been. Summit has done everything within their power to make this virtually impossible, and I detest them for it! I didn't know that it was possible to get worse service than what I was receiving at Peak Vista! But here we are approximately year later several renewals and an absurd amount of effort just to get them approved. I wouldn't send my family here. I wouldn't send my cats five month old turds here. This place has been absolutely terribly. I could not recommend anywhere else less. I hope if this is unclear, you'll reach out to me and I can further explain to you why this place sucks so very much! I'm sorry to everyone who's still figuring this out, but it's coming. Bet on it.
