When my…read moreaccountant of 15 years retired - I inherited Jason Kassan - my taxes are very simple - basically a rinse and repeat - yet not only did he almost miss multiple deadlines (even though I gave his office everything needed early) - Jason also cost me thousands of dollars in penalty fees that came as a shock last fall - both federal and state penalties. I could never get him on the phone and refused to answer emails - and instead of speaking to me directly, he sent out a notice saying I was being dropped as a client. Not only did I pay him 2K to do (an easy) return that wasn't done properly - it COST me thousands in penalties on the other side. I never give out bad reviews - I'm still in shock at how awful my experience was - and zero apologies. Jason Kassan proved himself to have zero professionalism and zero integrity.

Ben was extremely helpful sorting it all out for me, filing all the necessary documents for the trust and my personal taxes, for a very reasonable price. In addition, Ben has gone above and beyond to help me set up an excellent accounting system for the future. He is easily reachable by phone or email. The firm has both a Santa Monica & Pasadena office, which is great for this Burbank resident! A++
