This place is clean and the staff is very caring and friendly. Best of all, they do SNS nails! I live in Lexington, but am in Corbin on a part time basis. Visited this salon based on Yelp reviews, and man am I impressed! The pedicure was very nice and oh, so pleasant! The gal that did my SNS nails is quite talented in her profession - these are the nicest nails I've had in a very long time! This was one of the WORST nail salons I have ever been in. Not only was the staff off on their customer service, bordering on being rude. I sat there for 40 minutes waiting, while one lady finished a pedicure for a customer, she then went and stayed in the back without coming back out. I finally got tired of waiting and no one acknowledging how much longer it may be, or that they would be with me shortly, so I left. read more

5 Stars. Contacted several other nail salons and was not able to be accommodated however Corbin Nails said absolutely come in as they have a very spacious building and accept walk ins at any time. I got gel painted nails with magnetic design ?? They are awesome. I was kind of nervous when I pulled up to the shop because it doesn't look very clean from the outside. However, the inside of the building is very clean and decorated very nice. The staff was very nice and greeted me as soon as I walked in. I waiting maybe 15 minutes before they put me in a seat which isn't bad at all if you've ever been to get your nails done. The guy I had was very nice and very gentle when it came to doing my nails. I got a full set of acrylics with gel polish and they look absolutely amazing. I will definitely be coming back to get my nails done here from now on. read more

I've been making the 30 minute drive to Corbin Nails to get my nails done for over a year now... I have always been more than satisfied with their work. However, yesterday that all changed. I went in to get something out of the ordinary for me- acrylic w/ a design. They didn't want to do them considering I had just been in a week ago to get SNS, but I explained that I was going on vacation and wanted something more fun. She complained about doing them so much that she almost had me talked into just leaving. Right before she started painting, I pulled up the design I wanted on my phone and had it laying next to me so she could see it. She pushed my phone away and told me to turn the phone off that it was "too much". I finally told her that she was making me very anxious. This was THE WORST ATTITUDE I have ever encountered at a nail salon. It didn't help that the nails didn't turn out to be anything like what I asked for. What was meant to be a fun, relaxing day for me before going on vacation ended up as a disaster as I left in tears. I went straight and got them soaked off and SNS placed back on them at a different nail salon who welcomed me with open arms. I recently moved to Corbin from Lexington, KY after being relocated for a new job. I have been to this place twice. The first visit was just ok. I have pink/white nails and no one here seems to know how to do them properly. When the gentleman done my nails and I had left I looked at my nails and there were tiny bubbles in the polish. Not happy. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt, and went for the second time. The lady that done my nails asked why I had pink/white nails. I told her they looked better and lasted longer. She said I needed SNS nails, because they were better. She also "told" me I needed a manicure. I told her that I would pass this time on the manicure and she said "the next time you come in you need a manicure." When I pay someone (and I tip well), I expect to not be scolded and be talked down to. So...now I go to 4 Seasons Nails in London and have my pink/white nails done and they are absolutely wonderful. Smiles all around and they go out of their way to make me satisfied. I will go out of my way a few miles to get the service that they give. read more
