In short she has bins of broken glass and you pick out pieces in colors and place them on a canvas and then she coats it to seal the glass in and 24hrs later BAM! I'm not an expert (nor did I expect to walk out as Picasso), but thanks to our amazing instructor Gizelle, I was able to create a pretty close version of the sugar skull in honor of El Día de los Muertos. Gizelle's friendly and professional approach made the class so enjoyable. Her step-by-step guidance was clear and easy to follow, and she gave us plenty of time between steps to relax, laugh, and sip . She offered helpful tips--like how to get just the right shade of each color--and walked around giving everyone a little boost of confidence and encouragement. She even played great music to keep the energy up, and it was so fun and easy to listen! I had an amazing time with a great group of ladies and can't wait to go back for another class.
