Though I'm not sure if the owners and management are the same as…read morethose from the former Cafe Bar Holiday in Třebíč, it is clear to me that the high standard of food quality and dining experience is identical in this new location under the new name of Vinohrádek nad Babou. As a side note, the Cafe Bar Holiday website currently redirects visitors to the new Vinohrádek nad Babou website with nearly identical menu listings and pricing. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are beautiful, and the food is delicious. The casual atmosphere and wonderful service make this a relaxing place to leave the busy world behind and enjoy some great company over several traditional Czech meals. The pricing is quite reasonable and the menu options are vast. If you are just visiting Třebíč or new to the Czech Republic and looking for a great meal, I highly recommend the Czech classic of Svíčková na Smetaně s Karlovarským Knedlíkem a Brusinkami (Beef tenderloin in a creamy sauce served with slices of Karlovarský dumplings and cranberry sauce). Not only is this dish a national classic, but it is simply delicious and easily the best Svíčková na Smetaně I've had in a Czech restaurant, hands down. As of writing this review (March of 2018) the website-listed price for this generously-portioned meal is only 169Kč, or around $8.00 USD, which is a real bargain. This restaurant alone gives me reason to visit Třebíč every time I am traveling in Central Europe. This food and this restaurant really are that good.
