They were not trying to squeeze me for money and tell me a bunch of nonsense to drive up the bill with unnecessary charges. The doctor actually saved me some money by sending bloodwork off. I'm so glad I didn't take my 19 year old cat to Copeland vets after reading the horrible reviews and how they encourage unnecessarily putting the animal down for minor problems.

Was tested and labs show end stage renal failure. Recommendation was for a medication and appetite stimulant and to see how he did. 1 week later he was outside chasing a squirrel in the back yard. Now 60 days in and he acts like he did 5 years ago, running and eating and happy. I cannot say enough about how they have taken care of my 2 old dogs. Their quality of life has vastly improved and if I loose either one anytime soon I know they were treated as best as possible and given quality time in their remaining days thanks to the staff and veterinarians who have treated them!

He does the grooming and the at-home boarding which I love! Deuce gets very scared in the vet's kennel boarding so being with Gail is like heaven to him! Deuce gets very skittish when being groomed near his eyes. They do an awesome job getting in the crevices nice and smoothly! They are greatly priced and in an awesome location. We are sad because we are moving to Vegas at the end of the summer ... We will never find another place like Gail's again.

He was CUT up and bleeding in at least 5 places, absolutely butchered his cut (look at the pic of his awful tail)!! Upon complaint to the owner, she suggested we take the dog to the vet because she "didn't cut him, he has a skin condition because you neglect him!" We immediately took him to the vet who rolled her eyes and said "this skin condition is called RAZOR BURN from shears!" He now has to use cream for his "wounds" as the vet said. Photos taken immediately after he got home, notice the clean and new bandana. Disgusting.

So we called Best Friends in Cookeville with whom we had one great experience years before and should have changed practices then. They worked us in and their new doctor was wonderful, very thorough, discussed every aspect of care with us, covered all the bases, found nothing, but attempted to give some subcutaneous fluids (wow, did Kitty not like that) and gave her some antinausea medicine which must have worked because over the next few hours she reverted to her usual (almost usual self). They called and used email to check on her for the next day or two (YES, REALLY!!!). This was great care for our cat and very comforting to us. So, we are switching and now all 3 of our feline companions will be their patients and we look forward to being able to count on Best Friends!!!
