Times when apathetic customer service especially sucks:
- When you trekked 20 minutes through the cold to print a boarding pass.
- When you nicely ask for help, multiple times, and the people getting paid literally won't look at you despite the lack of crowds.
- When you're on a timer and know there's extra charges after 15 minutes.
Copy General could easily fix its service woes. You see, maybe instead of just handing someone a "key" to a computer, actual directions could also be provided? It doesn't even need to be entrusted to the [paid] team! They could just print out directions in a few languages and tape them to the computers.
Not everyone is used to a Czech keyboard. And even with the "English" option on the computer, the printer settings popped up in Czech. My Google Translate and basic understanding of the language can only go so far. Not to mention that no one told me to swipe the card-key thing again after requesting to print.
I only got my boarding passes because I basically burst into angry tears and started grumbling to myself, logged out of the computer, and was about to walk out the door without paying for the 13 minutes of failed attempts to print when a guy appeared from....I have no idea where. He was SUPER nice and instantly helped me with the whole process. Once he helped, I had my copies in hand and paid within three minutes.
Major props to that guy. No props to the others. read more
