Our dog Larry is a large Weimaraner/Mastiff with a silver coat. Since I have adopted him he has had skin issues. From 6 months old I was treating him with a skin infection, he was red and full of rash on his underbelly, months I did antibiotics and it still continued. I then switched his food to a well known brand from a local store. We saw improvement but really the hair on his back side never grew back and he would have flare ups all the time of rash and itching. Then we did rounds of weekly medicated baths, it really helped but it was a huge pain. Last fall we finally switched his food to the whitefish & duck from Pet Wants. Since then we have also got him allergy tested from our vet and found out he is allergic to grass . Since last fall we have been religious with giving him his meds (Benadryl & melatonin) morning and night along with his new food. He finally has fur!!!!!!! Along with no rashes, no more infections under his legs, and his fur is shiny and I haven't even given him a bath in a long time. It is such a relief as a person who has dealt with this for almost 5 years to finally see something help! He never has any issues transitioning to the food, I mean he's a 130lb big boy who loves food I wasn't worried about that. But Pat was great about giving us samples to test him with it to see how he did. Since Larry has been on his new food he is consuming less food then he had on past foods. The biggest thing for me with our experience with Pet Wants Green Bay is their customer service. Pat is wonderful to work with! He delivers the dog food right out our house, every batch of dog food has a hand written letter in it. Today we were leaving town for Memorial Day and I forgot to place my order this week so I placed my order this morning and within minutes I got a text that he would have it there by noon! It's not only good food but wonderful service! I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a good brand dog food for their pets!

I have taken both of my Labrador Retrievers to Sleepy Creek for obedience class, both "beginners"…read moreand "intermediate". These classes were both 6 week or 6 classes courses. The difference in temperament and overall obedience of both of my dogs is amazing. As with any dog training class... You get out what you put in. And most of the training is done by yourself at home. But Candy, the trainer (and owner) knows how to train both the dog and you, yourself. Every tip or piece of advice she has given me turned out to be correct. I would highly recommend her dog training classes to anyone who wants to get more from their dog and more out of the relationship. It's worth every penny... I also buy my dog food from Sleepy Creek Pet Lodge and have found it to be a great value in terms of price and quality of food. I will never buy standard grocery store dog food for my dogs again.

Was totally disgusted with this place after 20 plus years of bringing our dogs here. We woke up…read moreafter a restless night with our dog Vito who had an obvious ear infection as his ears were inflamed, hot, and he had been shaking his head all night long. I called Bay East right away thinking a technician could quickly peek at his ears and get him on some antibiotics, understanding they are busy, I was simply asking for a quick 3 minute in and out to give our dog some relief. I was shocked when the receptionist, who stated they were completely booked and had no space for him until the following Tuesday, 5 days from then. I simply asked her what I could do to get him seen. I was put on a long hold only to be told to come in the afternoon after 2 pm and would then be charged for an EMERGENCY vet visit. I politely told her we would be going elsewhere. I am thrilled to have found a new veterinary clinic here in Green Bay that is not only less EXPENSIVE, but open to emergencies when they occur. We have always loved seeing Dr. Eastman, unfortunately the clinic itself needs a MAKEOVER. I do wonder if there is a bit of discrimination since Vito is a pit bull (the friendliest) dog ever. I say this due to his reluctance of having his nails trimmed due to past trauma as a puppy. We were told the last time by the Dr. after 3 technicians were unable to finish his nail trim that he would need to be put under or heavily drugged for them to attempt his nail trim again. Ridiculous, these are professionals, we now trim his nails at home, yes a bit challenging but can be done, and we are no professionals. So Done!!!! Ursula T.
