This is a small market, but Park City is small! The volume of venders and the volume of people is less than a bigger town or metropolitan area. That said, the vibe does match the community. I have been 3 times now and have had different experiences each time. This is due to different produce being available at different times of year. And for products, different venders must chose to come different weeks. So the message is, you will get different reviews and a different market each week. One of my first experiences the food truck wasn't open and I was sad and hangery and it was lunch time! The next time I went, I was really only in the market for fresh bread which is there weekly as they're the sponsors of the 2022 market. The third time I went with the intent of purchasing local produce before my weekly Costco run.

It looks like such a beautiful place to walk around and it's free! From tree carvings, wildflowers and historic tours. We came for the wonderful Sunday Farmer's Market and there were so many amazing vendors with so many yummy samples! My favorite was the Mediterranean Hummus vendor. So many selections to choose from! Because of the hummus purchase we had to book it out and get it home and chilled! They had fresh meat, eggs, breads, jellies, salsas, and of course tons of produce from different Utah produce farms. It's very busy and you may have to park in the neighborhood surrounding the farm on Sundays. It's quite popular!!!! I loved the old historic buildings some dating back to the early 1900's. There's plenty of animals to check out from horses, to cows, pigs, sheep, goats, roosters, peacocks and a sheep. There's a small country store onsite as well. They have tractor and wagon rides. Some of the most beautiful wood flowers growing, a small creek runs through the property and there are several trails which I look forward to exploring on our next trip. I'm also excited to watch a lesson on cow milking! It's truly a beautiful spot to visit, and if you are interested I'd suggest bringing a blanket and some lunch and sitting under the shady trees and enjoying the magnificent things this working farm has to offer.

I love taking our dogs to see the "exotic" animals. Behind the activity barn is garden entirely worked on by volunteers in the Master Gardener program. If you ever see them working be sure to share your thanks! There's also a long path that loops the property once you cross the bridge, it follows the stream and then hangs left.

This one was almost all produce, with a few other things mixed in. We visited yesterday for the first time. There was an information booth giving away free masks if you didn't have one and they were playing music. I love music-it always adds to the mood. It would have been even cooler if it were live music. I'm sure there are some musicians in the community that would love to be showcased. The vendors themselves were pretty far apart from each other. I think that was due to social distancing-which I appreciate. However it does make it feel a little disjointed. But we do what we can with this 'new normal' stuff. Overall, the vibe here was a little weird. I'm not sure if that was due to the lack of people, the space between everyone or what. I think adding a few more vendors with a titch of variety (please, no MLMS) but maybe some handmade soaps or jewelry might add some more character. But if I'm looking for pure locally grown produce, this is a great place to get it!

I can't get enough of these small farmers markets that seem to be popping up all over the valley…read moreand state. The South Jordan Farmers Market is relatively new, but judging by this morning's crowd it's definitely a success. Lots of folks walking around checking out the fresh produce, prepared foods, and other local offerings. Vendors line the little "main street" area of the South Jordan Towne Center which is closed off to vehicles for the market. There are only a couple dozen booths--mostly produce with a few prepared food and plant sellers--so don't expect a huge variety. You can also duck into any of the shops there in the market; it's kind of a unique retail/farmers market partnership. Parking is a little tricky. There's plenty of it, but the layout of the shopping center gets things jammed up when you're close to the action. Better to just park across the lot and hoof it a couple hundred feet. I got there just after noon today and a lot of the growers had already sold the bulk of their harvest. I managed to get some good looking nectarines from a grower in Genola and took a chance on some early pears. I will say that prices here were a little lower than I've seen at a couple of the other local markets. The SoJo FM is open from late July to the end of October from 8am to 2pm each Saturday.

When I visited, the weather was absolutely perfect - sunny and warm with a light, cool breeze - perfect farmers market weather! The downtown Ogden area is a cute place. With the farmers market, it's a great place to walk around and browse... especially if you're hungry. There's so many things to try, and there's a good variety of vendors. I would definitely come back on my next visit to Ogden.

This lovely event has grown in size and popularity and it's been a fun transition to watch. You'll find fresh produce and local meat as well as artisan foods such as gluten free baked goods, locally sourced honey and unique salsas that rival anything you could buy in a store. I also love the kitschy artsy/craftsy stuff. It's fun to talk to the vendors-they are usually the people who make the goods themselves. Supporting local art and food is important to me...a few years ago I put a ton of effort into selling goods at events such as this, so they hold a special place in my heart. Be kind. These folks are doing something that they love and hoping to make a little money doing it. Consider supporting local rather than big box. I especially love that you won't find MLM type companies. Yes, I know those folks are also trying to earn some money. But I think Farmer's Markets should be reserved for local goods. I appreciate that the organizers of this market feel the same way. This year, it was nice to see how everyone adhered to the CDC guidelines and kept the market open, with accommodation for the virus. Great job, everyone!

I love this place because you can walk around and chat with the vendors. He was your friends and family and pretty much have a wonderful day. Tagge's Farms, with snappy green beans and an 8-foot display of salsas, jams, butters, and mixes, should get any spare change you have left. Volker's Bakery is also a stand-out, the vendor today had baked all the goods at the stand before coming to the market to sell out. The Asiago-pepper bread is my personal favorite and I buy a loaf every time they have it!
