First off I love this festival it's my favorite one in Europe, how ever after purchasing RIP tickets at a ridiculous price, we went to the RIP area to go to the restaurant. We were seated and promptly ignored, we asked a Waiter why people that came after us were getting their orders taken. They apologized and took our orders , we waited another 30 minutes and the people next to us received their food , and had been seated 30 minutes after us. We again inquired why and were told that our food had been given to those people (next to us ) . I have never felt more neglected. They offered us a free meal , but at that point we started to realize that our rude Waiter probably had a problem with Americans. The festival is amazing and the Danish people are amazingly polite . but I feel that because of one very bad restaurant , it put a very bad reflection on the value of buying an RIP ticket. And they should be ashamed of themselves. You only get one chance to make a good impression. I recommend this festival it is awesome but I would avoid the restaurant in the RIP area especially if your American. read more
