Really cool place, and a one-of-a-ind in Denmark. We were a bunch of guys who went here for my bachelor party, and it was a blast. Kind of out of the way from central Copenhagen, but worth the drive.
What it is is a full-sized professional windtunnel skydiving simulator, just like the pros use for formation training.
The reception is somewhat sterile, looks almost like something they'd set up as a fake reception in "Mission: Impossible", but the service is nice and friendly, and you're shown into a locker room where you change into coveralls and get your helmet and gloves. Then its out to the massive vertical turbine outside. The building has an ante-area where you meet your instructor, and an inner chamber, which is the wind room itself, separated from the ante-chamber by plexiglas windows. Each participant takes turns in the wind room with an instructor, while the others wait outside. The entire You only get a few minutes each, but that's OK, because floating weightlessly in an airstream is actually really hard work!
Instruction is very professional, and of our group, they managed to get every one of us up and hovering, doing turns, hover to the top of the wind room, and more, in only a few rounds of a few minutes.
After the fact, you can get a video emailed to you of your flight. All in all, a great experience, a lot of fun, and a perfect team building experience. read more
