The incompetence is off the charts. A process that should have taken 2 weeks at most has dragged on 5 weeks. Every time I talk to them they give me different and contradictory information. And after I did everything they said I needed to do, they changed their mind and said I needed a different set of paperwork. My insurance company was even fed up with them. My, my, my... No surprise that this location has only a ONE star rating. One of the, if not the worst experience with customer service that I have ever encountered. Professionalism??? What's that? Customers beware!!!!! Make sure you completely empty your personal belongings from your vehicles going to CO PART in Ham Lake, MN. I had my personal belonging stolen from this facility and even had a watch disappear as I was swapping out aftermarket taillights from my totaled vehicle while I was present. I was concentrating on removing the lights and had my watch off so I wouldn't scratch it and it disappeared off of my new vehicles tailgate as I was working on the totaled on. I'll never do business there and will recommend staying away from there to every person I know. Whoever took it was lucky I didn't see them or they would have had a lengthy hospital stay. read more

I had my car towed here after it had been totaled in an accident in Rochester. My wife, who was 28 weeks pregnant at the time, ended up hitting a car that was facing the wrong way after losing control of their vehicle. Police were called, and cars were towed. Our insurance company recommended this lot so their appraiser could go and review the damage. Our car was towed here the same day as the accident. 2 weeks later, I was able to make my way to ham lake to retrieve our personal belongings that were left in the vehicle. (Note: this place is only open business hours during the week, so I had to take time off of work to drive 2 hours there and 2 hours back). Upon retrieving the items from my car, I noticed that many items were missing from my car. Multiple pairs of sunglasses, car chargers, CDs, a gas card, AUX cords, and others. They claim that they don't touch the vehicle, but it had clearly been cleaned out. Bottom line is DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. They are scam artists, liars, and thieves.
