MUST READ SCAM In auction dated 10/10/2021 with Coparts in SC I won the bid on Lot # 45868830 a boat for $6800 plus fees.On Coparts inventory sheet their retail value was over $14000. When I went to pick up they provided me a fake bill of sale That DNR says is fraud in title. PLUS in a vin lookup states there's a lien on record. Copart denies all liability and says they was selling as scrap or parts even though there's no motor or parts remaining on boat. Nothing on bid sheet stated sold as parts. Coparts answer was sorry. I want to like this company. But I've got a story to share: On June 23rd I bought a cargo van from Copart, using a second auto brokerage as a third party in the transaction. I was told that the title would arrive in a few weeks by mail. June 30th, I sold the cargo van, informing the business that bought the van that the title would be arriving from the third party within a couple weeks. Fast forward to today, September 6th and still no title. I have advised the van's owners to sue Copart for negligence, because that seems to be the only way to get their attention. Their call center employees like to go on lunch breaks during the middle of your call, and both Copart and the third-party car dealership try to pass blame between each other without actually saying what happened. I wish the van's owners the best of luck in their lawsuit. read more

Why can't people be honest anymore? If I could leave no stars I would. First of all, it took more than an hour to be attended to and locate my car. Secondly, upon getting the contents out of my car, noticed it had already been pilfered through and several pair of sunglasses gone, not to mention all the contents (minus my sunglasses) being stuffed into my trunk. It's unfair to have not been afforded the opportunity to take out my belongings before someone else decided they liked them for themselves. Is there not common decency? Can those affected by the accident be given time to recover? I'm to file a claim with my insurance company for the missing items per the yard manager. (Update: They and the at fault party's insurance will do NOTHING about it.) These people clearly do not care. Way to take advantage of people when they are the most vulnerable! read more

They have had me waiting hours to come and tow my car after calling me with no hour notice like they said they would saying a driver was at the location to pick up my car. I rush to the location just for the driver to not be here and to get continuous runarounds from the ppl I speak to on the phone I have missed time from work due to this company being highly unorganized and unprofessional. They damaged the car while moving it with the forklift. Gouged and scratched the crap out of an otherwise perfect bumper. Dislodged the stabilizer bars under the car with the forks of the forklift. They offered to take the car back and refund our money but not the broker fees and transport fees. They would not pay to repair the damage. It was needless damage done by careless employees that aren't held accountable for their actions. Make sure your transport driver has pictures of the vehicle when he picks it up and if there is damage they need to bring it to the attention of the lot manager before they load the vehicle. Or have the driver call you so you can bring it to the attention of the manager. The employees have been know to remove wheels, swap nice wheels for crappy ones or steal stuff like navigation systems. And you get a car different from the pictures you used to make your decision on. read more
