I stayed in this hotel just few days ago. The location is awesome, although it is located right at one of the busiest street in Copacabana noise is not an issue. The room was big enough with a queen bed and a single bed for my son and it was clean. Nothing great to expect from the bathroom, but the shower/water was strong and relaxing. The breakfast was good enough with plenty of fruits, breads, pastries, coffee, juices, cereals and etc. The service was fine. I just got a little annoyed that on the check out they requested a permission from my son's dad to stay at the hotel. I never heard of it before as I have traveled many times in Brazil. They never requested at the check in, but did on my way out. I presented my kid's passport with the travel authorization done by the Brazilian consulate and they still said it was not enough. Apparently, there was a new law requiring a permission to stay at any hotel if one of the parents are not present. However, my understanding is that the authorized permission on the passport should had been enough. Weird. Other than this little issue, the hotel was fine, in a nice location just a block from the beach. read more
