There are waterfalls, historic sights, great restaurants, and interesting museums, all within an hour's drive. Four major airports: Birmingham, Huntsville, Atlanta, and Chattanooga are all within 90 minutes. We flew into Birmingham and spent four restful nights with our lovely hosts. Inside to the right is a Ron filled with novelty's of wine products (including their wine jelly which is wonderful!!!) The tasting counter is beautiful! Hand made from wood by the owner. High shine and Gorgous grain! The whole shop is cute and decorated pretty with fun table and chairs, accents that make it homey and inviting. Our host, Kaylen, was wonderful. Very informative and fun to chat with. She made us welcome and offered some neat ideas of how she uses the wine jellies as a meal base in cooking! Their wines were nice, not overly sweet (a couple sweet options) we opted for a wonderful Riesling. I don't usually go white but theirs was bright, refreshing and not much tannin. I purchased it to go with a seafood dish! Can't wait to open it! Tip: no food or snack tray options available. They don't have signature glasses to buy.
