What can I say? 400% price markup for induction weekend wouldn't seem so bad if the trolley didn't strand my family a mile and a half from my "free parking" after the parade. Sat for a long time with some other sad parade goers at a stop that was marked "trolley stop" and was listed on the towns list of stops, but nobody ever came. Called the company and they said if we could all run .7 of a mile in one minute to a different stop, we could get a ride. Nice. Apparently they forgot to mention on their website that certain stops weren't being used. Not that it was the trolley companies fault, but this was after the whole family needing to pee for hours because the parade planners had only thought to put porta potties on the other side of the parade route. The business owners in this town (who all seemed to be running nice places) deserve better from the people who planned the parade and ran the trolley, which really just seemed like a way to gouge me for a $20 one way ride that was only 1.5 miles. Shameful. At least we got some exercise! read more
