I went through this law firm for a divorce. The lawyer told me they had lunch with the judge and my soon to be ex was out for money and that it would be easy to prove that and defend myself and my children. Lawyer would them side with my ex once face to face in mediations leaving me dumbfounded. Calls to Cooper Coons to ask why this lawyer was unable to defend me was answered with "we don't monitor our lawyers and what they do". A bar complaint with 60 pages of evidence was also conveniently not counted. Avoid this law firm if you seek representation. read more

I'd love to give 5 stars because the Attorneys who handled the Estates of both Parents were great. Even when we were all ordered to stay home, they managed to still get the work done without any extensions or recalendaring. GREAT Attorneys! My one complaint would be their support staff, one paralegal in particular could really go too far with attitude, snide remarks, and overall rudeness. Sweet as pie to the men, but anyone else she acted like I was a moron on occasion, and whenever I had to call her she'd speak to me in a tone giving me the impression that she really did not want to waste time answering my questions. On more than one occasion after I left a message with the Receptionist for her to call me back, when she called me, she didn't say "hello", or "how's everything", no polite chatter before getting down to business. Instead, as soon as I answered she'd SNAP at me and accuse me of yelling to her girls, and on more than one occasion took it upon herself to LECTURE me as if I were a child instead an older Woman and Attorney. She got so hostile and aggressive ordering me to not "yell" at her girls, when I told her or TRIED to tell her that I in no way, shape, or form yell at anyone, she'd talk over me saying the SAME thing, and then would go off on me about thevquestions I asked her. I am not a Probate/Estate Attorney, and I told her this once when she started talking down to me about the law. Anyway, I usually just brushed it off, but the last time I emailed her about a certain piece of property and asked what I could do, her reply email said "we do not pay your bills", and that was NOT what I was asking! I am smart enough to know that a firm doesn't pay a Client's bills, so that irritated me. The coup de grace was when, again, I left a msg with the Receptionist, and when the paralegal called me back she started to GO COMPLETELY OFF on me, accusing me again of yelling at her girls, then went off on me lecturing me and accusing me of asking the firm to do something unethical, which REALLY offended e and yes, pissed me off. I stayed cool but let her know that instead of making assumptions, to READ a Client's email or message before flying iff the handle. I was SO MAD, I had had ENOUGH of her, so I wrote to one of the Partners detailing her unprofessionalism, rudeness, and sarcasm. I also suggested that she get retrained on how to speak to Clients bc she's representing THEM when talking to Clients. I guess he spoke to her, and do you know she tried AGAIN to go off on me in an email. Soon as I read "About your email to my boss"...I deleted it bc I did NOT want to go off on her like she did with me. ONE of us had to act professional, and it obviously wasn't going to be her. So, again, great Attorneys, but they need more professional behavior from their support staff. read more

Their office was close in Summerlin and comfortable and they took the time to walk through the process so the family was happy.
