This is my second time using this law firm for a legal matter…read more My first case was for a personal injury sustained while driving. I was very pleased with the outcome and monetary award back in 2023. From initial contact until the case, concluded, the firm and the attorneys kept me well informed about the status of my case. In this second matter, I was unjustly cited for a traffic violation. Attorney Chris Beckstrom took my case to trial. Along the way, Mr. Beckstrom explained in detail how the law in Nevada changed so that the State's burden of proof in traffic court adheres to a lower standard than it does in criminal court. He helped me understand how the process works when a person fights the system. He presented a brilliant strategy for my case and prepared me to testify in court. On the day of my trial I was very anxious (as most people would be). He assured me the evidence was on my side and that we would have a favorable outcome. After testifying in court and presenting this evidence to the judge my case was dismissed. Having Price and Beckstrom represent me saved me $400 in court fees. This review is 100% honest on my experience with them. ____________________________________________________________ I hit my head pretty bad, I don't remember much from that first month, just bits and pieces so I'll share what my memory allows me to. Back in 2021 I got into a car accident. I called Paul Padda Law when I was in the ER and they scheduled me to come in right away. Paul Padda Law is my go to for attorneys, I use them for everything so they all know me there, especially Ashley Pourghahreman, which she was the first one to tell me our first meeting with you after the accident, you were not yourself, you were gone. They were calling my name constantly when I was staring blankly at them. They were genuinely worried about me, so they scheduled to have me see a doctor right away. Ashley always called to check up on me, she made sure I had my appointments lined up a month in advance and called me up when I'd miss them, so I started setting up alarms on my phone, I had over 10 different alarms lol. After going to my appointments, two of the doctors told me I would need surgery for my neck. I absolutely refused! I am young, I am very healthy, I don't smoke, I don't drink, I've never done drugs in my life, and I've never gotten into an accident before. I felt like my body was going to recover on its own as long as I go to treatments. Boy was I wrong! I was still going to work, I called out a lot but I still had to work because I have bills to pay and kids to support. At one point I was so depressed because I was worried about bills, my kids, being in so much pain, not sleeping, not eating, not being able to use the bathroom on my own, and so much more. My body and mind gave up. I called Paul and I told him I don't want to go to treatments anymore, I don't feel like it's working because still I'm in so much pain and I hated going to all these different doctors, it was extremely overwhelming. I just wanted to crawl in a cave and just stay there forever! Paul calmed me down and he helped me that day. He told me not to quit, not to give up, not to lose hope and that everything was going to be ok. I'm so glad Paul took the time to speak with me because a couple months later my body finally gave up and I lost my vision. I don't remember how long but that's when I decided I needed to get surgery and get it over with. I didn't want to get surgery but I had no choice, so I literally cried like a baby. After surgery I had some issues and Ashley always called to checked up on me. She's such a sweetheart. Months later after recovery and still going to doctors and therapy Paul's team worked extra hard to close my case out. Sri was on her phone all day negotiate with the adjuster "on her day off". Ashley called me 5 times that day to give me update lol. The whole team knew my case needed to be closed out, it was a long stressful journey! A few weeks went by and I asked if there were any movement, would the attorney take the case, and I was told it was still being evaluated and the paralegal had been out sick. Fast forward several more weeks and I still hadn't heard anything, so I messaged the paralegal again, who got back to me in a day and said they were going to pass on the case. Of course they were, they literally know 2% about it. It's really too bad because there are multiple legal issues clearly documented in this situation. Overall, the experience was crappy. I don't think it should take any law firm five or six weeks to tell you they're not going to take your case. That's not why I'm giving one star though, it's how they conducted themselves throughout this process.

You don't expect to get hurt at work, but when it happens, you want to be heard and being my first time in 30 years or so since my first job, I did not know what to expect. Definitely did not expect to be shuffled around like a deck of black jack cards, still loss and confused as to who I can see, when, and specifically, who is listening to my and my concerns? Fast forward a year and many research hours later I came across Behzadi Law Offices. Located in a nice plaza off of Sahara at Buffalo, a great location for me because just down the street was my WC MD. So +1 for convenience. My attorney Q has a very nice and comfortable office. Staff is A-mazing, warm and very welcome. What took me was how personable Q and the staff are. I came in with an appointment already in place. Greeted as I walked in and seen within minutes of arriving. Q sat me down in his conference room, and at that point I knew I made the right choice. He sat with me and listened to my concerns as to how my case was going, and before I knew it he had a game plan configured to myself and the next step in the process that needed to be addressed. Mind you, I am already 1 year in, with my case, so he had his work cut out for him in catching up, analyzing and executing his plan. It was not until the end of our meeting that he brought up $. In this case, a settlement for me. 1- I was not there for a settlement. I love work and for the past year up to before I hired Q, I was on a crazy restriction regiment and teetering of loosing my job due to those restrictions. Q was my insurance to assure job security while I recover correctly by seeing and understanding a lot of how the process works so I can retain my job. 2- Him mentioning the $ at the end of the meeting showed me that my concerns came first. More than what I was getting from WC insurance. Respectfully we know insurance do their best to help at a minimum, then when attorneys get involved, you can see a change in speed and direction. That was what Q was for me, structured recovery. Fast forward to today and at the end of the journey with the WC claim, I am better. Pain is not gone, but because of Q I was heard at work and I was able to keep my position at a different assignment. With this move I endure less pain and am able to recover naturally. Unfortunately this will stay with me forever, but knowing I can reopen when needed as explained by Q, and he will be there for me, relieved some of those worries that I carried with me for the first year. I would not recommend Adam Vander Heyden based on my experience with him as my DUI attorney…read more I was given two plea offers before my final court date: one for 6 months probation and 5 days in jail, and another for 10 days in jail with a DUI conviction. I made it very clear that I did not want to go to jail, or if jail was unavoidable, I wanted the absolute minimum amount of time possible. Adam advised me to reject both offers because he told me he believed he could get me a better result in court. I trusted his advice and followed his recommendation. Unfortunately, once we actually went into court, I felt like everything completely fell apart. The City Attorney presented a very negative picture of me, and I felt that my attorney's response and defense were extremely weak. The main argument I heard from my attorney was essentially that I work and therefore shouldn't go to jail. I did not feel like there was a strong effort to counter what the City Attorney was saying or advocate for me. The judge ultimately sentenced me to 80 DAYS IN JAIL -- significantly more than either of the plea offers I had been advised to reject. What bothers me most is that I genuinely felt like my attorney did not care about the outcome of my case. I trusted him when he told me we could do better by rejecting the offers, and I ended up paying a much heavier price because of that decision. I understand that no lawyer can guarantee a result, and I understand that the judge makes the final decision. My issue is with the advice I received, the expectations that were set, and how I felt I was represented when it actually mattered. I would not recommend this attorney to someone facing a DUI who is relying on their lawyer to seriously fight for them. My experience left me extremely disappointed and frustrated
