This particular Coop seems to be the shopping refuge of English speaking ex-pats because almost every time I shop there I hear Americans and Brits chitty-chatting up and down the aisles. The product range somewhat reflects this foreign clientele and one is able to pick up a package of McVitie's digestives or Pepperidge Farm Milanos when the mood strikes.
I was just at a Coop in Zollikon where there was only one check stand and the general vibe of the place was almost like a country store. The Seefeldstr. Coop is a bit more 'city-fied' with its staggered check stands ready to handle the after work crush.
