We already got some wine and meat from another local store and needed some veggies to got with. They really got a nice selection of wonderful, colorful and ripe veggies and fruit. We bought some watermelons, peaches, basil, rucola and tomatoes. All was of high quality and the tomatoes so wonderfully juicy and rich in flavour. You only get this flavour in tomatoes in Italy. Fantastic. And it was all cheaper than in a chain like Conad. A great little spot, even if you don't really need fruit or veggies you should have a look.

This one is open until 8.30pm, so it was one of the few grocery stores still open that day (the fishmongers on the waterfront were already gone). It's a pretty small, pretty narrow and pretty packed Conad. Sure not one of the best we've been in. There is a cheese counter, but no meat counter. Only a small selection of fresh and frozen meat. Ok was the selection of veggies and fruit. You can get your everyday products like pasta, rice and stuff. But there won't be much choice. At least they had a good number of mosquito repellents and candles (they eat you alive in this part of Italy in summer). So, it was ok for our shopping that day, but we didn't return. There's a better and bigger Conad in close-by Formia. And - don't show up too late - fishmongers with a nice selection of fish and seafood on the waterfront of Gaeta....for little money!

Sad to report they no longer sell…read moresandwiches, due to the store being super popular due to the TripAdvisor crowd constantly rolling through. Instead, they have shifted to providing cooking classes while also maintaining an excellent well stocked deli. We were able to scoop up drinks, cheese, crackers and meats for a takeaway charcuterie board. Had a nice conversation with the friendly owner too- really an excellent family run and fully stocked store. Would gladly stop by again the next time we are in Posi.
